**Anthony Nese requested and has been granted his release from TNA and posted the following message online:

I wanted to be the first to inform everyone that I have requested my release from TNA Wrestling. As a professional wrestler I have many goals and dreams that I work hard to achieve, one of them was to have the opportunity to perform in front of a live audience on national television and I thank TNA Wrestling for providing me with that opportunity. Another goal of mine is to wrestle against some of the top international superstars with the chances to travel the world and work for some of the best international companies that have the best talent in wrestling today.

I have recently been approached with an opportunity to step in the ring with The Great Muta, a wrestling legend, and one of All Japan Pro Wrestling’s top wrestlers Kai. This is an opportunity that I feel with help me further my goals and career. This event will be provided via IPPV and unfortunately my TNA contract did not allow me to perform on such events. I requested that an exception would be granted given my lack of appearances but was denied. My next action was to request a release as I think it will be in my best interest.

I would like to thank TNA Wrestling for helping me achieve one of my goals as it is very few in this business that are able to say they have. I would also like to thank all the people that support me as this is just a small chapter coming to an end in my career and I have many more exciting opportunities in my future to come.

**Following Gabe Sapolsky’s message he posted on Facebook Monday (the comments are in the Monday Update) Ring of Honor took action but issuing a cease and desist letter to Sapolsky according to a report from Mike Johnson at According to Johnson, Sapolsky signed an agreement with ROH when he left the company in 2008 that he would not disparage the company and ROH (under different management then when the deal was signed) felt the deal was violated. Sapolsky followed up with the following comments:

You stop yourself from saying something 1000 times, but the one time you take 30 seconds and write something out of anger it blows up beyond your imagination. If you are reading this the bottom line is all you really care about is great wrestling, good storylines and something compelling. We had two awesome EVOLVE shows last weekend….Our staff of Ivan, Bryan, Sean and Brandon among others, led by Sal, worked tirelessly to put on those two memorable events and great iPPV streams. I took the attention away from all that by losing my cool for a moment and lashing out with profanity. I can’t make any promises in the future, but I’ll remember this lesson. I ended up doing the last thing I wanted to do- take the attention off the wrestling that we all care about.

**Sean Waltman was in attack mode against Dixie Carter on Wednesday posting the following comments last night:

Highly disappointed with you as a person who claims to care. More disappointed in your handling of the only alternative to WWE @TNADixie Been meaning to tell you that since your Co. tried to make it look like I no showed your PPV. Im just sick of @TNADixie running around playing this benevolent role, when it’s a facade. @TNADixie BTW Congrats on hiring Bruce Pritchard. Perfect fit . One of the biggest lowlifes in the business. Treats ppl like sh** if he can Mark my words TNA will be a part of WWE’s video catalog before the decade is up.

**Tara (Lisa Marie Varon) will be featured in the next edition of Penthouse Magazine but is not posing in the magazine. There will be a feature on the Knockout’s division in the issue and Tara and Brooke Tessmacher were interviewed for the piece.

**Here is an interview with Kurt Angle promoting this weekend’s house shows and discussing his character, being a babyface once again and the variety of roles he has played during his career.

**The WWE has signed a distribution deal with D-Smart in Turkey to air a one-hour version of ‘Raw’ and ‘Smackdown’ to air on Saturday nights back to back.

**Earl and Dave Hebner turn 63-years old today.

**Here is a super depressing article on Jose Canseco, that you can certainly make parallels to a lot of older wrestlers with once the money and fame is gone.

**The UFC on FUEL 3 event did 173,000 viewers on Tuesday night headlined by Chan Sung Jung defeating Dustin Poirer in a fight of the year candidate.
