LAW Oct. 20 Update – Graham Death Believed To Be Suicide

**Tomorrow night on The LAW Dan “The Mouth” Lovranski and Jason Agnew are back with two-hours of pro wrestling chat kicking off at Midnight EST. The major topic tomorrow night we are asking is how you book the CM Punk Vs Ryback match for next Sunday’s Hell in a Cell pay-per-view. Call in tomorrow at 1-855-591-6876 and let us know how you would book this one. We will also chat with ROH talent Michael Elgin, who is coming off a great main event match with Kevin Steen last weekend in Mississauga and will be competing for Smash Pro Wrestling next weekend in Toronto and you will have a chance to win tickets to the Smash event. Tune in tomorrow night on TSN 1050 Toronto, The Team 1410 in Vancouver and online here on the website where you can listen live.

**There is not too much new information regarding the passing of Graham other than it is believed to have a suicide with his wife Diane finding him in their hotel room in Daytona Beach, Florida. It had not been a easy couple of years for Graham as in addition to his father Eddie taking his life at the age of 55 his son committed suicide in December of 2010 and he took it extremely hard. I cannot even begin to think how his wife is right now having lost her son and husband within the span of two-years to suicide. The couple also had a restaurant in Florida that launched in July of 2009 and went out of business a year ago along with the two having lots of real estate when the market went down a few years back.

Graham very much wanted to be involved in the business and attended various conventions and always seemed to be right on the fringe of getting a call to be involved in some capacity. Graham was also super tight with Kevin Sullivan and it was back in 2010 that Sullivan had some talks with TNA to take over creative but those talks when nowhere but you have to figure Graham would have been considered for a position had Sullivan gained power and with Hulk Hogan already in the company I would have expected it at that time as he was always on good terms with Graham as well. In addition to that Graham’s long time tag partner Steve Keirn is a key member of the FCW staff and had that connection and was close by for Graham but nothing ever materialized.

**The latest edition of The MMA Report from this week is up featuring my chats with Ed Soares (the manager of Anderson Silva, the Nogueira brothers and Lyoto Machida among others) along with Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter chatting Jon Jones Vs Chael Sonnen and more. The show is available at and on iTunes if you subscribe to The MMA Report with John Pollock.

**Thursday night’s edition of Impact Wrestling coming out of Bound for Glory did a 0.99 rating and averaged 1,250,000 viewers peaking for the main event between Sting and Devon. In a surprising stat after weeks of drawing very well Tara’s match with ODB was the lowest point of the show.

**The Raw crew has a show in Reading, Pennsylvania tonight (the same city where Bellator was last night) and then are in Hartford tomorrow before the tapings on Monday night. Today is also the final show in Cairo before that crew is flies back.

**The TNA crew is in Macon, Georgia tonight for a house show and are in Savannah, Georgia tomorrow.

**Here is the full interview Howard Stern conducted with Bubba the Love Sponge this past Tuesday discussing the fall out with Hulk Hogan:

**The USA Network has announced they will run three straight nights of WWE programming from December 17th-19th with Raw on the Monday night, a special Tuesday night edition of Smackdown and the two-hour Tribute to the Troops special on Wednesday night. It is unknown if the Tribute to the Troops special will also air in their annual one-hour block on NBC, with the WWE’s contract with NBC-Universal stating that NBC will air two annual specials on the network. There will actually be four straight nights of show because this programming is coming out of the TLC pay-per-view on December 16th. In fact between the WWE, TNA (two episodes of Impact), ROH (Final Battle), UFC (live shows on the Friday and Saturday) and Bellator (Friday night show) that is probably going to be the busiest seven-day stretch all year long if you follow all of those promotions.

**This week on Review-A-Wai Wai Ting and I are reviewing the July 6th 1998 edition of Monday Nitro headlined by Hulk Hogan Vs Bill Goldberg for the WCW Title at the Georgia Dome. You can watch and leave feedback at

**Rey Mysterio has the weekend off to recover from a terrible stomach virus he has contracted in order to be ready for Raw on Monday night and the tag finals in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The virus caused Mysterio to miss last weekend’s house shows along with Raw on Monday night and he was scheduled to travel to Egypt this week for three Raw live events.

**TNA has added Rob Van Dam Vs Zema Ion for the X Division Title to this Thursday’s edition of Impact along with Jeff Hardy defending the TNA Title and Tara Vs Miss Tessmacher for the Knockout’s Title.

**Dragon Gate USA’s next weekend of iPPV events will be November 2nd, 3rd and 4th with iPPV shows in Everett, Massachusetts then Voorhees, New Jersey and then finishing up with a Sunday card in Long Island, New York. All of the shows will be available at
