John Pollock / June 8, 2011 - 4:52pm
**Lanny Poffo has stated in an interview that his brother Randy died from ventricular fibrillation, which is a condition that can cause the heart to stop pumping blood. Poffo also added that Randy’s wife steered the vehicle after he suffered the heart attack to avoid hitting a motorcyclist and ran into a tree.
**The Warrior (formerly Ultimate Warrior) has caused a ton of controversy after posting a teaser video this morning attacking Hulk Hogan and claiming Hogan was a drug addict and also making claims that he had an open marriage with Linda Bollea and even offered his wife to the Warrior at one point. It is quite a scathing video and Hogan has made comments to TMZ that his lawyer is getting involved and may be suing Warrior as a result. Warrior has promised to release a 55-minute video later this week attacking Hogan further (which as I recall was about the length of Warrior’s promo on Hogan when he debuted for WCW in September 1998 and his infamous Hartford promo).
**Byron Wilcott, who was a WWE developmental talent working in Florida Championship Wrestling has posted the following comments on his Facebook account:
As some of you know my girlfriend is pregnant. Some of you know her as Awesome Kong. Most know her as Kharma. I know her as the love of my life, Kia Stevens. Due to this being a high-risk pregnancy I'm going to take this time and step away from the ring to concentrate on making sure her and our baby's needs are met. I will fulfill the remainder of my dates till June 12. It's not an end, just a new beginning.
Wilcott was released in January of 2010 from his developmental deal and competed under the name Lennox McEnroe.
**WWE ‘Raw’ averaged a 3.2 rating on Monday night and 5-million viewers. The season finale of ‘Tough Enough’ did a 1.95 rating and averaged 2,860,000 viewers (the second highest rated episode of the season behind the premiere in April).
**Michael Elgin Vs Steve Corino has been added to the Ring of Honor ‘Best in the World 2011’ event June 26th in Manhattan, New York and airing on Go Fight Live that night.
**The New York Times reports that Hulk Hogan will be putting together a touring stage show to start up in the fall in select cities and then graduate to a worldwide touring show in 2012. The concept of the shows is still up in the air but will be featuring a 90-minute show from Hogan with a lecture style of format for aspiring entertainers and fans.
**Rima Fakih is currently in Las Vegas for the ‘Miss USA Welcoming Ceremony’ and that is the reason she was not in Richmond, Virginia this past Monday for ‘Raw’ and the season finale of ‘Tough Enough’.
**Dragon Gate USA has announced shows for September 9th in Indianapolis, Indiana, September 10th in Chicago, Illinois, and September 11th in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
**Great North Wrestling is planning to hold a tribute show for Randy Savage on September 3rd in Hawkesbury, Ontario at the Robert Hartley Arena. The event will be headlined by Lanny Poffo Vs Greg Valentine and Jay Lethal will also be working the event.
**Matt Hardy has removed the recent video online and Jeff Hardy using a taser on both Matt and his girlfriend Reby Sky and posted this video to explain why:
