TNA Impact Report for Jan 22 - Angle Vs Styles

Ladies and gentlemen, smarks of all ages,  it's time once again for every masochistic wrestling fan's favourite show, TNA Impact! But first off, a quick note- for anyone wondering about the lack of an Impact report last week, blame an incredibly inconvenient black out that hit downtown Toronto Thursday night, and carried on well into the weekend. Here's the Cliff's Notes version of Impact last week...

-          Hernandez pissed away his Feast or Fired title match, with a four minute match against Sting that ended in a disqualification.

-          Shane Sewell hulked up again, and knocked Booker T on his ass.

-          Brother Ray returned and put Kurt Angle through a table. Team 3D challenged Angle and Sting to singles matches at Against All Odds. Angle's match against AJ Styles was pushed back to tonight.

-          Jay Lethal and Consequences Creed beat Abyss and Matt Morgan in a Number One Contenders' match to the tag straps, when Abyss accidentally cost Morgan the match.

-          Roxxi Taylor Wilde revealed to the Beautiful People that Obama won the election, FakePalin is an imposter, and Kristin Shepard was the one who shot J.R. Ewing.

-          Petey Williams returned in the main event, costing Scott Steiner the match.

But enough of living in the past...it's a new dawn in America and a chilly (but electrically powered) night in Toronto...let's Cross the Line!

The show this week begins with a video package highlighting all the crap I just went over. Tonight it's AJ Styles versus Kurt Angle in a tables match, on an episode with the ominous title "The End of the Original?". We kick off the show proper with a four-way X Division match- hell yeah!

Sonjay Dutt (with So Cal Val) vs. Sheik Abdul Bashir vs. Chris Sabin vs. Alex Shelley (Four-Way Match for the TNA X Division Championship)

If anyone hasn't seen the Genesis match between Sabin and Shelley, go out of your way to find it- it was fantastic. Shane Sewell is refereeing this match, and with Bashir's involvement in it, that doesn't make a lick of sense.

At the tolling of the bell, Bashir and Dutt jump out of the ring, leaving the Motor City Machine Guns to soften each other up a bit. Sabin and Shelley take turns working each other's arms to start, with a series of fast takedowns, reversals and roll-ups, leading to a Japanese respect spot. Dutt and Bashir sneak into the ring and jump the Guns from behind, then both start laying in the boots. Sabin rolls to the outside, and the heelier heels go to double team Shelley. Shelley ducks an attempted Double Clothesline, and tosses Dutt into Bashir. Sabin makes it back into the ring, and the Guns nail simultaneous shin kicks to Bashir's chest and back. Dutt nails Shelley with a kick to the gut then comes off the ropes, but Shelley Back Drops him to the apron. Shelley drops to all fours, and Sabin runs over and uses his partner's back as a springboard to take Dutt off the apron with a massive Dropkick. The Guns go for Bashir and Shelley heads out to the apron for a Springboard, but Dutt pulls him down hard to the floor. Bashir takes down Sabin as Dutt slips back into the ring. Dutt stretches Sabin's face with his boot, then takes turns with Bashir at choking Sabin in the ropes. Sabin fights back with right hands, then takes Dutt down with a nice Leg Sweep.

From the ground, Dutt goes for a Reverse Roll Up, but he's kicked off, tumbling out of the ring. Bashir goes for a Schoolboy, but Val jumps up onto the apron to distract Sewell. Bashir gets in Sewell's face, but Dutt slips back into the ring and nails Bashir with a Dropkick. Sabin recovers and nails Dutt with a low spinning back kick then whips him into the corner, but Dutt slips halfway out to the apron and hits Sabin with a Pendulum Kick through the ropes. Shelley finally makes it back into the ring, just in time to turn Dutt inside out with a devastating Clothesline. The camera cuts over to the entrance ramp, where we find Sharmell making her way out to ringside. Back in the ring, Bashir nails Shelley from behind and goes for the cover, but Dutt breaks it up. Dutt comes off the ropes and hits a huge Crucifix Tornado DDT. He goes after Sabin, taunting him with some weak face slaps. Sabin responds by whipping Dutt into the corner, but he runs into Dutt's raised boots. Dutt heads up top and goes for a Diving Tornado DDT, but Sabin catches in an Inverted Waist Lock, leaving Dutt dangling precariously upside down. Shelley runs over and kicks Dutt in the face, and Sabin hoists Dutt up onto his shoulders. He signals for the Cradle Shock, but Val grabs his leg from the outside, and Dutt wriggles loose. With Sabin distracted by Val, Shelley sneaks in and rolls Dutt up for the pin fall.

Winner- Alex Shelley, to retain the TNA X Division Championship.

After the match, Sharmell announces the reason for her appearance- Booker T has beckoned for Sewell to meet with him in Booker's locker room- immediately. Backstage, we get a shot of Kurt Angle, Scott Steiner and Sting heading out to the ring. After a break though, we go not to the ring, but to Booker's locker room, where Sewell has just arrived. Booker warmly invites Sewell to sit next to him on his fancy-pants couch. Booker tells Sewell that he's been in the wrestling business for seventeen years. He doesn't know who Sewell is, or where he's come from. He's heard that Sewell has been to Puerto Rico and Mexico, but he's here in the Impact Zone now, where they do things differently. Booker says that last week, Sewell put his hands on him. He begins to yell at Sewell, who stands up defensively, but Sharmell calms things down. Booker slips back into his friendly voice and says that while he would normally bury Sewell for what he did, Booker likes him, so Sewell gets a pass this time. He says tonight, he wants Sewell to do him a favour- there's an elimination match tonight with Booker and Scott Steiner taking on Petey Williams and Eric Young. Booker tells Sewell that he wants Petey alone with the Main Event Mafia at the end of the match, so they can take him out for good.

We next head out to the ring, where the rest of the Mafia have found their way out, with mics in hand. Kurt Angle says that last week, things didn't work out the way the Mafia had planned. However, where there were bad choices, there will now be worse consequences. He mentions that Team 3D is currently in Japan, and Mick Foley is in Europe- they'll get theirs next week. Tonight however, Angle promises that justice will prevail, starting with Williams and ending with AJ Styles. He concedes that the Mafia underestimated Williams. They thought he was gone and buried, but he came back last week, seeking revenge on Steiner. Angle quips that this isn't Oz, and Munchkins don't rule here (he's right too, Oz is still out with a staph infection. Ba-zing!). Angle says that TNA is the house that the Mafia built. After Williams and Young's match against Booker and Steiner tonight, when the dust settles and the smoke clears, Williams will again be all alone in the ring with the Mafia.

As for Styles, last week he was part of the reason Angle was put through a table. Angle says that payback's a bitch- tonight, not only will he whup Styles' ass, afterwards the Mafia will put him out of action permanently. Moving on to Against All Odds, Angle asks who died and made Team 3D bookers, who gave them the power to make matches? Angle says he doesn't give a damn how many tag titles they've won, they can take their challenges and stick them up their asses. He says there's no way he'll wrestler Brother Devon, and there's no way Sting will wrestler Brother Ray. Sting interrupts Angle, calling him "Mister Godfather", declaring he can speak for himself. Sting says since this is all about respect, with all due respect, no one's going to tell him who he can and can't wrestle. Angle's expression becomes one of shock and anger. Angle and Sting begin furiously whispering to one another, until they're interrupted by the arrival of Jim Cornette.

Cornette says while Team 3D don't have the authority to book matches, he does. He says at Against All Odds, it's not going to be Sting vs. Ray and Angle vs. Devon- there's going to be a Four-Way Match for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Cornette says that we saw a good strategy for winning a Four-Way Match earlier tonight- even though it's every man for himself, the best way to come out on top is for two men to team up to divide and conquer the others. Then, one guy has to make the sacrifice, and allow the other to get the pin fall. Cornette says we know that Team3D can work together- the question is, can Sting and Angle? If not, at Against All Odds, there may just be a death in the family. The segment ends with Sting and Steiner left dumbstruck, while beside them Angle stands, staring a hole into Sting.

Next up is a neat little video package chronicling the history between Williams and Steiner. From there, we go to William and Lauren backstage for some comments. Petey says that the problems between him and Steiner are personal- screw the Mafia and Booker T. Petey says Steiner has made a lifestyle out of bullying people. He throws down the gauntlet, challenging Steiner to try to bully him- it won't happen. Williams tells Steiner not to worry about how he took out Williams weeks ago, or what he'll do in the future- he should worry about tonight. He says when you've got one foot in yesterday and one in tomorrow, you're pissing on today. Petey says that if Big Poppa Pump is your hook-up, Maple Leaf Muscle is who you look up- Holla if you hear that.

Back in the Impact Zone, Mike Tenay and Don West conduct a live-via-satellite interview with Team 3D, who proudly display their new IWGP Tag Team Championships. Brother Devon says that winning the belts proves without a doubt that they're the greatest tag team of all time, twenty-one time champions. It's twenty-two times by my count, but no one ever counts HUSTLE. Brother Ray says that winning the IWGP belts in the Tokyo Dome is like winning any other titles at Madison Square Garden- it's a huge honour. Mike Tenay informs Ray and Devon about the Four-Way Match at Against All Odds. Ray says that if he has to go through his brother and Kurt Angle to get to Sting, so be it. He says Sting may not have helped the rest of the Mafia take him out weeks ago, but by standing by and watching, what he did was even worse. Ray says that this isn't the first time he's fought his brother, and Devon finishes the thought, saying it also won't be the last time. Tenay asks Team 3D, given the chance, which of them will be the one to get the winning pin fall, to become the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Ray says the answer is obvious, but we don't get to hear the rest of what he has to say, as the sound suddenly gets cut out of the feed. Very cheesy effect. Tenay apologizes for the technical glitch, and sends us to commercial.

We go to the back, where Jeremy Borash is waiting with Sting, Scott Steiner and Booker T. He asks Sting for his thought on his match at Against All Odds, and whether or not he can trust Angle. Sting says he hasn't forgotten that this is all about respect, and right now JB is disrespecting Sting and his brothers (and sister) by trying to stir things up between them. He maintains that the Main Event Mafia are all on the same page, and they'll continue to move forward, at the same speed they've been going. He says that Team 3D should keep in mind, there's enough respect to go around for everyone. Steiner takes the mic next and says that throughout his career, he's proven that in a one on one match, he's unbeatable, unstoppable. Petey Williams cost him a victory last week, and he has a lot to pay for. Steiner vows that he won't be held responsible for what happens in the ring tonight.

Next up is part two of a Rough Cuts series on Sojournor Bolt. Bolt says that she's one hundred percent the real deal...sure, she's a bottle blonde and her nails are fake, but when she punches you in the face or kicks you in the back, that's real. Bolt talks as well as she wrestles, which is to say, she makes Christy Hemme look like Trish Stratus.

Hey, you know what would be a novel idea for an Impact segment? Some ACTUAL WRESTLING.

Sojournor Bolt vs. ODB

...that's so not what I meant.

ODB has traded in her camo for an outfit that's so violently neon pink, I had to turn down the color on my TV. Bolt jumps ODB before the match with a kick to the back, and ODB lands with her leg tied up in the ropes. Bolt lays in some hard boots, as ODB sells the leg. ODB comes back with a few chops, but Bolt kicks at her leg, then hits a Clothesline. Bolt covers ODB, but she kicks out at two. Don West has my favourite line of the night- "ODB is someone you can't classify". ODB makes it up to a seated position, but Bolt hits a low Dropkick. She heads up to the second rope for a Diving Splash, but ODB rolls out of the way. ODB makes it to her feet and hits a few right hands and a series of clotheslines. ODB whips Bolt into the ropes and hits a Flapjack. Bolt tries to bail out of the ring, but ODB pulls her back in by her tights. ODB hits an absolutely awful Lou Thesz Press, just as Awesome Kong hits the ring. Kong kicks ODB from behind, and the referee mercifully calls for the bell.

Winner- ODB by disqualification.

As Kong begins to lay a beating on ODB, the rest of the Kongtourage heads out to the ring. Kong hits ODB with the Implant Buster, but before she can do any more damage, Roxxi and Taylor Wilde run out with weapons in hand, and the Kong Krew are forced to bail out to safety. Hopefully the Frontline is watching, maybe then they can learn how babyface saves are supposed to be done.

Next, we- OH FUCK OFF. Seriously? Lauren is backstage with FakePalin. FakePalin says she had fun making fools out of the Beautiful People for the past few weeks. She starts to elaborate, but she's suddenly tackled by Angelina Love, with Velvet Sky close behind. The once-again-Beautiful People proceed to smash FakePalin into every piece of set dressing they can find, with Sky even hitting over the head with what I'm generously going to call a half-by-four plank of wood. Love begins to choke FakePalin and security runs over, but they're immediately followed by Cute Kip, who knocks out each guard with a single punch each. TNA needs to start hiring security guards that aren't haemophiliacs. Kip yells for Love to let FakePalin go, she's done enough. Love eventually relents, and the Beautiful People leaving their victim laying helpless on the ground. Incidentally, if I had found the remote faster, this paragraph would have been about South Park. The one with Trent Boyett was on.

Booker T and Scott Steiner (with Sharmell) vs. Petey Williams and Eric Young (Elimination Match)

Shane Sewell is our referee for this match, as indicated earlier. Don West reminds us of Team Canada- all jokes aside, I love that there's no three month rule in TNA. I have no idea why this is an elimination match... why not just make it a handicap match, since clearly that's what's going to happen anyways?

Booker and Young start things out. Booker hits a series of hard chops, and Young answers with right hands. Booker whips Young into the ropes and hits a knee to the gut. He tags in Steiner, who hits a hard Scoop Slam, a few Back Chops in the corner and an awkward Hip Toss. Steiner nails Young with a few clubbing forearms, while staring a hole into Petey. Steiner whips Young into the corner, but Young slings over him and hits a Reverse Atomic Drop and a Flying Forearm for a two count. Young tries to make the tag to Williams, but Steiner grabs his leg and pulls him away, then tags in Booker. Booker goes for a Suplex, but Young blocks it and hits a Suplex of his own. Young runs the ropes, but Booker cuts him off with a back elbow. Steiner comes in illegally to attack Young from behind. Sewell forces him to exit the ring, but the damage is done- Booker eliminates Young with an Axe Kick. We're down to the predicted handicap match, as we head to break.

When we come back, Steiner is putting the boots to Williams. We see clips from during the break that that show us Steiner throwing Petey all around and right out of the ring. Steiner hits a Military Press Slam, then goes to throw Petey out of the ring again, but Petey skins the cat back in. Williams hits a series of right hands before Steiner Back Drops him over the top rope. Williams lands on the apron and comes right back in with a Slingshot Lungblower. Petey then tears into Steiner with a flurry of right hands, and Steiner is forces to roll out of the ring to safety. After a quick breather, Steiner comes back in on his side of the ring, and quickly tags in Booker. Booker takes it to Petey with about a dozen hard knee strikes. He whips Petey into the ropes and goes for a Jumping Crescent Kick, but Petey ducks and hits a Dropkick of his own for a two count. Petey goes off the ropes, but Booker catches him with a hard Spinebuster. Booker covers, but lifts Petey up at two, much to the frustration of Sewell. Booker tags Steiner back in, who goes for another Military Press. Petey slips loose and hits a quick low back kick and a Sit-Out Jawbreaker. Steiner slumps onto the ropes, and Petey nails him with a Running Dropkick to the back. He follows up with a Flying Forearm on the corner. Steiner reverses an Irish Whip and sends Petey into the corner, but he runs into Petey's boots. Petey heads to the second rope for a Tornado DDT and covers, but Steiner kicks out at two. Petey goes for the Canadian Destroyer, but Booker comes in illegally and nails him with a Superkick. Steiner recovers, and drags Petey over to the corner, delivering a Samoan Drop off the second rope. Steiner cover Petey, but again breaks the pin at two. Booker tags in and hits the Axe Kick, but yet again refuses to pin Williams, despite Sewell yelling at him to just end the match. Booker hits Williams with a second and final Axe Kick and finally pins him.

Winners- Scott Steiner and Booker T.

Immediately after the match, Sewell pushes Booker aside to check on Williams. At Booker and Steiner's behest, Sewell grudgingly raises their arms, but out of nowhere Booker delivers a devastating slap to Sewell's face. Sewell hulks up and attacks Booker, but Steiner jumps him from behind. Sewell tries to fight both me off, but falls to the superior numbers and takes a Book End. Booker mounts Sewell and starts delivering a relentless series of right hands, as Earl Hebnur arrives at ringside and desperately yells at him to stop. Eventually, Steiner has to physically pull Booker off of the fallen ref, and the heels collect themselves as we go to break.

We return to a video package, highlighting the history of the Matt Morgan/Abyss team, right up to their brief pull-apart brawl after losing last week's match. Afterwards, Morgan and Abyss head out to the ring for a pre-match interview with Lauren. Morgan says it's no secret that he has a temper. It's been his Achilles' heel his entire life, his crappy attitude has cost him contracts with the NBA and the NFL, and half of the incentives in his wrestling contract. Worse, it probably cost him his best friend after last week. Morgan says that as a man, he owes Abyss an apology (actually, he calls him Abby all through this promo, which I find hilarious). He says their problems have all been his own fault, and all he can do now is beg for Abyss' forgiveness. Morgan says that if they can put their problems behind them tonight, he still believes with all his heart that they will be tag champions. Tonight, they can settle for Beer Money's blood. Abyss hugs Morgan, and says he accepts his apology. Abyss says he has problems with his temper too, which is why he goes to therapy. Abyss suggest that from now on, he and Morgan go to therapy together, and he even offers to ask if there's a two-for-one discount. Morgan is all smiles. Abyss says this is a glorious day- he got back his best friend Matt, and now they can be a family again, along with his "girlfriend" Lauren.

Matt Morgan and Abyss vs. Beer Money Inc. (Robert Roode and James Storm) (Non-Title First Blood Match)

Abyss and Morgan charge up the entrance ramp to meet Roode and Storm before the bell rings. Morgan and Storm brawl into the stands, while Abyss and Roode go at it at ringside. Morgan launches Storm hard into the side of the bleachers and tries to follow up with the Carbon Footprint, but Storm dodges and Morgan kicks the wall hard. Storm heads up a level, then jumps down onto Morgan with a Diving Double Axe Handle. Storm and Morgan make their way to the ring, while the fight between Abyss and Roode spills out into the crowd. Abyss sends Roode into the crowd side of the barricade, while Morgan lays in a series of knee strikes to Storm. Roode and Abyss head back to ringside, where Roode rams Abyss' face into the apron. Abyss heads into the ring, and Roode follows him with a chair. Roode goes to swing, but Abyss punches the chair into his face. Abyss grabs the chair and wedges it between the ropes in the corner. He charges at Roode, but catches a pair of boots to the face. Roode hits a second rope Flip Neckbreaker, then mounts Abyss for a series of right hands, but he gives up when he can't get the Monster to bleed. Abyss throws Roode towards the chair in the corner; Roode tries to sling over backwards, but Abyss see him coming and catches him coming down with a kick to the crotch.

Abyss shoves Roode face-first into the chair, but it doesn't bust him open. Abyss takes Roode to the outside, as Morgan and Storm head into the ring. After a few right hands, Morgan goes for a Fall-Away Slam, but Roode comes in and smashes him in the face with one of the tag belts. Abyss follows him in and levels both members of Beer Money with a double Clothesline. Abyss Back Drops Storm over the top rope, but Storm lands on the apron and hits Abyss with a Slingshot Kick to the back of his head. Storm goes for the Last Call, but Abyss catches him coming in and hits a Chokeslam. Abyss brings another chair into the ring, but before he can use it he goes down to a Chop Block from Roode. Roode and Storm hit Abyss with a Double Suplex, followed by the Beer Money cheer. Storm holds Abyss up, while Roode picks up the chair, but before he can use it, Morgan enters the ring and yanks it out of his hands. Morgan stares down both members of Beer Money, who both beg off. All of a sudden, Morgan spins around and blasts Abyss in the head with a brutal chair shot. Roode and Storm are in shock, Abyss is busted open, and Morgan orders to referee to call the match.

Winners- Beer Money Inc.

Beer Money clear out of the ring, and wisely beat a hasty retreat to the back. Meanwhile, Morgan taunts Abyss, then leaps onto him with a flurry of right hands to his bleeding forehead. Security comes out, but Morgan easily dispatches them. We get a close-up of Abyss' head, which is pouring blood like a faucet. Abyss staggers to his feet, but Morgan has picked up the chair again, and he levels Abyss with a second chair shot. Just as we go to break, Morgan can be heard yelling out "you did this, Abyss".

When we come back, Abyss is being helped to the back by TNA's all but useless security guys. Abyss shoves them off of him, and begins to completely freak out, trashing the backstage area, and taking out the cameraman in the process.

We go to a video package, going over the history between Kurt Angle and AJ Styles. Afterwards, we find Jeremy Borash backstage with Angle, looking for some Olympian insight. Angle says that he's given Styles way too many passes- he could have ended his career many times before now, but he always felt sorry for him. Angle says Styles took a victory from him, just like he took his wife and his life. Tongith, Angle vows that he'll take away Styles' career and livelihood. JB asks Angle about his match against Sting at Against All Odd, but Angle leaves without saying another word.

Kurt Angle vs. AJ Styles (Tables Match)

Angle and Styles tie up, and Angle goes to work on Styles' arm. AJ rolls out and reverses the Arm Wrench, but Angle quickly makes it to the ropes. The two tie up again and Angle hits a Headlock Takeover. AJ makes it to his feet and whips Angle into the ropes, leapfrogs him, drops down then hits a picture perfect Dropkick, that sends Angle to the outside. After a breather, Angle slips back into the ring and the two tie up again. Angle lifts Styles up so that he's sitting on the top rope, but the Styles gets him in a Front Facelock. The ref calls for a break, but Angle tries to shove AJ over the top. Styles instead catches Angle with a Body Scissors and uses his momentum to flip Angle to the outside, landing on the apron himself. Angle staggers to his feet, just in time to catch a Diving Forearm from Styles. Angle hits hard, but he recovers quickly and makes a break back into the ring as we go to break.

We come back just as Angle hits a nice Snap Suplex. AJ fights to his feet, but walks into a Belly to Belly Suplex. Angle brings a table into the ring then goes back to AJ, but Styles briefly cuts him off with a hard chop and a right hand. Angle reasserts control, slamming AJ's face into the flattened table. Angle has a decent sized cut on his hand from bringing in the table. Angle slaps on a Side Headlock, but AJ fights out and runs the ropes. Angle cuts him off with a knee to the gut, then sets up the table in front of one of the corners of the ring. Angle tries to take AJ up top, but AJ out. Angle applies a Rear Waist Lock, but AJ kicks off the table for leverage to escape the hold, leaving the table laying on its side. The two men trade punches until AJ hoists Angle off his feet and crotches him on the side of the table. AJ builds momentum with a series of Standing Clotheslines, followed by a big Flying Forearm in the corner, a Scoop Slam and a Knee Drop. Angle comes back with a big European Uppercut that sends AJ to the apron, but AJ catches Angle with a shoulder to the gut and another big Springboard Flying Forearm. Styles sets the table up again then goes for the Styles Clash, but Angle blocks the move and makes it to his feet, with AJ on his shoulders. Angle goes for an Alabama Slam type Spinebuster, but AJ rolls through. Angle holds on to one foot and slaps on the Ankle Lock, but Styles quickly kicks loose. Angle charges at AJ, but AJ ducks a Clothesline and hits the Pélé. AJ lays Angle on the table and heads up to the far corner, but Angle recovers and goes for a Running Belly to Belly Superplex. Styles blocks the move and knocks Angle down with a Headbutt. He goes for another Diving Forearm, but Angle dodges this time, and AJ hits the table chin first. With Styles dazed, Angle manages to capitalize, putting him though the table with the Angle Slam.

Winner- Kurt Angle.

After the match, Angle begins stomping on Styles' ankle. He delivers a few stiff right hands, then grabs a chair, and wraps it around Styles' ankle. With no other Frontline members in sight, Angle stomps on the chair repeatedly, then slaps on the Ankle Lock again. Leaving AJ screaming in pain, Angle heads over to the announce table and grabs a microphone. He announces that tonight marks the beginning of the end of TNA. Starting next week, the Main Event Mafia will take out everyone in the back, one by one- they're mark their territory, Mafia style. Still no Frontline appearances to help AJ out- TNA has the suckiest babyfaces ever.

Final Thoughts-

Though the opening match this week was excellent, and Morgan's heel turn was done well enough, there was a lot of crap this week- more than usual, even. The fact that every single match now ends with a beat down gets boring really, really quickly- it's the mark of a lazy writer, going for cheap heat and time filler. Also, the fact that the heels go back to the same tactics time and again- specifically, the chair around the ankle- really minimizes the impact of that spot. At this point, it's not shocking, or dramatic, just played out, hackneyed and dull. Finally- what the FUCK is with the fact that the Frontline NEVER run out to make the save in time? And tonight, they don't even bother trying? Hey Russo- if you're going to do these beat-downs, the babyfaces need to show some kind of a presence. Why the hell would the fans want to get behind a team that acts like lambs being led to slaughter?
