LAW Mar. 27 Update - Flair Confirmed for Hall of Fame
John Pollock / March 27, 2012 - 11:36pm
**The latest Review a Raw with Wai Ting and I reviewing last night’s ‘Raw’ leading into ‘Mania is up at http://fightnetwork.com/news/30927:mar.-27-edition-of-review-a-raw/ and is a loaded show with our thoughts on ‘Raw’ as well as the ‘Once in a Lifetime’ special that aired on USA prior to ‘Raw’ and lots of your feedback.
**Here is the full and complete card for WrestleMania 28 following ‘Raw’ last night:
*The Rock Vs John Cena
*The Undertaker Vs Triple H with Shawn Michaels as the Guest Referee in a Hell in a Cell Match
*CM Punk Vs Chris Jericho for the WWE Title
*Daniel Bryan Vs Sheamus for the World Title
*Team Johnny (David Otunga & Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger & Mark Henry & The Miz & Drew McIntyre) Vs Team Teddy (Santino Marella & Kofi Kingston & R-Truth & Great Khali & Zack Ryder & Booker T)
*Beth Phoenix & Eve Torres Vs Maria Menounos & Kelly Kelly
*Cody Rhodes Vs Big Show for the Intercontinental Title
*Kane Vs Randy Orton
**Christian was removed from the 12-man tag as he continues to have problems with his high ankle sprain he sustained last year and has kept him out of action for six-months. It shows the limited depth they have right now where Drew McIntyre backed himself into a spot with zero storyline and rarely on television over the past month as well as wrapping up whatever storyline The Miz was doing where the idea was he would go from main event to being off the show in the course of a year. Rey Mysterio’s knee was nowhere near 100% and couldn’t be called upon for the match, Sin Cara is still hurt and Evan Bourne just messed up his foot and that eliminated all three of those options for Team Teddy.
**The final ‘Raw’ before WrestleMania did a 3.0 rating, averaging 4,440,000 viewers and continued the streak of below average numbers for the WrestleMania build up this year despite The Rock on all of the show for the past five-weeks.
**The Rock Vs John Cena ‘Once in a Lifetime’ special did a 1.6 rating and averaged 2,130,000 viewers for the 8pm EST airing on Monday night on USA Network.
**Here is our full interview with WWE performer Dolph Ziggler discussing his career in the company, the Spirit Squad, this coming Sunday’s WrestleMania as well as last year’s show and more:
**The WWE has announced on their website that Ric Flair will be at the Hall of Fame this Saturday night in Miami, Florida for the induction of The Four Horsemen into the Hall of Fame. The company has confirmed that the inductions of Edge, The Four Horsemen and Mike Tyson will air on TV this Monday night at 8pm EST on the USA Network.
**Jimmy Korderas and I have a preview of the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2012:
**The full list of inductors was released on WWE.com on Monday night and were largely the exact same as the rumours that had been out there with the exception of Rikishi not being included:
*Edge (Christian), The Four Horsemen (Dusty Rhodes), Mike Tyson (Shawn Michaels and Triple H), Mil Mascaras (Alberto Del Rio), Yokozuna (The Usos) and Ron Simmons (JBL).
**Wednesday we will have a new edition of Review a Wai where we take a look back at WrestleMania 20 from March 2004 at Madison Square Garden. Then on Thursday we will have an interview up with Gabe Sapolsky discussing the Dragon Gate USA events this weekend in Miami and Friday we have a new edition of Review an Impact before Wai Ting and I head down to Miami for WrestleMania.
**After ‘Raw’ went off the air John Cena left the ring and The Miz came out and demanded an apology from The Rock for stealing his spotlight last year and Miz took a Rock Bottom.
**The Rock is interviewed in Variety about his return to the WWE and box office power as they breakdown his five highest grossing films.
**The WWE also announced to the live crowd that they would be returning to the Philips Arena in Atlanta for the ‘Hell in a Cell’ pay-per-view on October 28th this year.
**Cameron Cemen has been hired by the WWE as their new Senior Director of Talent Relations and replaces Ty Bailey’s post following his release two-weeks ago.
**Randy Orton will be the star of ‘Marine: Homefront’ that begins shooting in Vancouver this June. It is the third film of the franchise from WWE Studios, which was originally written for Steve Austin but his team turned it down and led to John Cena starring in the first movie in 2006 and then Ted DiBiase starred in the sequel in 2010.
