John Pollock / June 28, 2012 - 3:45pm
**Tonight TNA is live with ‘Impact’ at 8pm EST from Orlando, Florida featuring A.J. Styles & Kurt Angle defending the Tag Titles against Kazarian & Christopher Daniels. The A.J. Styles and Dixie Carter angle will also continue tonight as last week’s angle was never designed to be the climax or blow off to the story.
**TNA announced on their conference call earlier today that the following matches have been added to the July 8th 'Destination X' event in Orlando:
*Samoa Joe Vs Kurt Angle in a 'Bound for Glory Series Match'
*Ultimate X Match for the vacant X Division Title
*A.J. Styles Vs Christopher Daniels in a 'Last Man Standing Match'
**Review-An-Impact will be posted late tonight with Nate Milton and myself running down the show and taking your feedback, which you can post on The LAW message board after the show.
**Bobby Roode will be joining Jason Agnew and myself this Sunday night on The LAW at 11pm EST on TSN 1050 Toronto chatting ‘Impact’ going live, the events behind the scenes at ‘Bound for Glory’, breakup of Beer Money and more.

**TNA has posted the entire UNEDITED TRANSCRIPT of the mysterious phone call between Dixie Carter and A.J. Styles and what was edited out by Christopher Daniels. Yes, it was in fact a surprise birthday party that Dixie was planning for Serge. The full transcript and audio of the call is up on TNA’s site at http://www.impactwrestling.com/news/item/3603-EXPOSED-The-Facts-Behind-The-AJ-Styles-Dixie-Carter-Phone-Tapes.

**Lisa Marie Varon (Tara) did an interview with the Wrestling Observer website and was asked about the recent allegations made by Kenn Doane about a former Diva, who was married being with John Cena and then moved from Raw to Smackdown:
On a personal level, what KD said was mostly false, although there was a little truth. I have been with my husband for 20 years. He's the best guy in the world. But like any 20 year relationship, we have some good times and we have had some bad times. And anyone who I traveled with knows that. Because you learn intimate details about each other whether you want to or not. We have separated a few times. One of those times that we were separated, I dated John for about a month. It was not in 2006 or 2007. It was in 2002. It was when we were both in Louisville. I was married but separated. John was single. I was never his 'road girlfriend'. I know that when we were separated, my husband also dated a couple girls. That's what happens when you are separated. In 2002, it was common knowledge that John and I dated. It fed the rumor mills for people who have nothing better to do than gossip like old ladies. So for KD to use bits of information that he was only able to pick up because he was allowed in the inner circle of WWE, and smear me, when I only treated KD with respect, over an incident that he is upset about from 5 years ago, tells me that he didn't learn anything about 'backstage politics' and how it relates to being a decent human being.
**Ring of Honor is in Baltimore, Maryland tomorrow night at the DuBurns Arena for their next set of television tapings featuring Kevin Steen defending the ROH Title along with the rubber match between Mike Bennett and Lance Storm among other matches.
**The WWE has combined shows all weekend long with both rosters starting in Monroe, Louisiana tomorrow night and then to Lafayette on Saturday and Hidalgo, Texas on Sunday.
**It was on this date in 1998 that the Hell in a Cell Match between The Undertaker and Mankind took place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at the ‘King of the Ring’. The bumps Foley took in that match were easily the most famous of his career but even he would admit he was never the same physically after that match and was forced to inject a lot more comedy into his character for his own longevity. The match can be argued for its positive and negative impact on the business – on the one hand it put Foley on a pedestal as this enduring legend to the audience and was replayed so many times that it became an iconic moment (and call by Jim Ross) that is one of the first images conjured up when reminiscing about the ‘Attitude Era’ but on the other it set the bar at a height so high that for anyone to try and match or surpass it was rolling the dice at the most extreme level pro wrestling had ever seen in North America. It would be an interesting question for Foley to address because he has been very vocal about how tired he is of discussing the match and the bumps taken and has never wanted his career to be defined by that night as a performer who had some incredible matches in his career and far surpassed the label of ‘stuntman’ that was bestowed upon him by Ric Flair.
LAW MMA UPDATE
**Jamie Varner has been tapped to take the spot of the injured Terry Etim on the August 4th UFC on FOX 4 event where he will fight Joe Lauzon. Varner pulled off a big upset at UFC 146 where he stepped in for an injured Evan Dunham to defeat Edson Barboza after Varner had largely been written off following his departure from the WEC.
**UFC Bantamweight Roland Delorme will get to fight on July 21st at UFC 149 with a new opponent in Francisco Rivera. Delorme was initially scheduled to fight the debuting Bibiano Fernandes on that card but then it was revealed Fernandes had not in fact signed with the UFC and has opted to sign with One FC. Rivera was originally scheduled to fight Ken Stone this past weekend at the Atlantic City show but had oto pull out and was replaced by Dustin Pague.
**Following his unanimous decision loss to Mike Pierce the UFC has released Carlos Eduardo Rocha.
