Henderson-Diaz, Rua-Gustafsson, Penn-MacDonald at UFC on FOX

A trio of strong matchups top the bill for UFC on FOX 5 on December 8 as the promotion confirmed several matchups with USA Today on Wednesday.

In the main event, Benson Henderson (17-2) will defend his UFC lightweight title against Nate Diaz (16-7).

The co-feature pits Mauricio "Shogun" Rua (21-6) vs. Alexander Gustafsson (14-1) in a light heavyweight bout.

Finally, the already rumored welterweight showdown between B.J. Penn (16-8-2) and Rory MacDonald (13-1) has also been confirmed.

UFC on FOX 5 is set for December 8, though no venue or location has been confirmed.
