*CM Punk Vs John Cena Vs Big Show for the WWE Title
*Sheamus Vs Alberto Del Rio for the World Title
*The Miz Vs Rey Mysterio for the Intercontinental Title

**Paul Heyman posted a lengthy piece on Twitter today with some cryptic references to rumours and contracts and doing a nice sell on ‘SummerSlam’ this weekend:

It is amazing how many rumors are flying around. I don't like to address rumors. It lends credibility to them, and the moment you answer ONE rumor, you immediately call attention to the other rumors (no matter how ridiculous they are) by NOT responding!

We're going to clear up some issues. Set the record straight. Get some people "on point," and stir some things up!

Brock's theory of "let them speculate" seems to be a damn smart one, and I certainly see the merits of that position.

HOWEVER (aha! There is a "but" involved here)… Just to address two items that so many people seem to be giving credence to.

@CMPunk and I have NOT pitched the idea of being aligned to anyone. If we did, you wouldn't know about it. Did anyone know I was coming back on May 7th as Brock's representative? NO ONE KNEW! So if @CMPunk and I have ... or had .. or will have a plan ... I assure you, it would have / will play out in front of your very eyes. @CMPunk doesn't need an advocate. Nor a spokesman. Nor a representative. That's not his character. Brock's character totally different.

The other rumor to address ... Whether @WWE is interested in extending my deal, Brock's deal, etc. Not one single person has hit the nail on Brock's deal with @WWE ... and that's the way Brock likes it! … and since NO ONE knows what my deal is, it would be impossible for anyone to state with certainty what my situation IS ... or ISN'T! And, just for the record, I'm not discussing it.

Here's my reasoning for it ... When I left @WWE in 2006, I thought I was done. Gone. Never to return. I loved working with Brock on his book. Building #Looking4Larry with @MStuart777 has been a total blast! The @HeymanHustle website and digital program has been the cornerstone of our agency, and we love doing it.

This whole deal has been a surprise. A surprise for you. A surprise for my kids. A surprise for the WWE Universe. A surprise for ME, too. Enjoy the ride. Watch it unfold. See what happens. For the first time in forever, we have people GUESSING what comes next. If for no other reason but THAT, there's nothing 2 discuss. You know there's a heavily-promoted match this Sunday at @WWE #SummerSlam.

You've seen @ShawnMichaels, Stephanie McMahon, all our CHILDREN be a part of this main event. Now it comes down to Brock Lesnar vs HHH. If we've sold you on buying the ppv, I bet you get your money's worth on this match alone. If we haven't sold you on the ppv yet, then thank you for your time, and I hope something else has captured your attention or imagination.

Brock and I are "all-in" for this Sunday. And just based on what his future holds, HHH is "all-in," too. This is a match everyone wants you to remember.

So ... I'm not addressing any more rumors. I'm not confirming. I'm not denying. I'm focused on this Sunday ... ... and I'm looking forward to watching Brock and HHH live up to, and indeed EXCEED everyone's expectations.

Is this hype? Yes. But it's Hype routed in TRUTH. Is this a rant? A diatribe? A long-winded TwitSpeech? Absolutely! Hope you liked it.

LAW MMA UPDATE

**This week’s edition of “The MMA Report” features Strikeforce Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey, who tore apart Cris ‘Cyborg’ Santos in this chat when discussing a potential catchweight bout that Santos has proposed. I also chatted with Randy Couture, who is ‘The Expendables 2’, which comes out tomorrow and we welcome Josh Nason to the show to discuss all the fights announced for December and a look at the Strikeforce card this weekend. The show is available for download at http://lawradio.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=shows&action=display&thread=1369 and you can also subscribe to ‘The MMA Report’ for free on iTunes.

**The two-part ‘All Access’ series that Showtime Sports had produced leading up to this Saturday’s fight between Ronda Rousey and Sarah Kaufman have been tremendous. I just watched the second part and Kaufman was featured a lot more in this episode and made you really interested in the fight by the end of it. One of the knocks of the UFC countdown special for awhile has been that they have settled into a copy and paste formula with personalities that do not always translate well. In this series they got incredible access with Rousey and felt so refreshing in contrast. Both videos are below:

**Canadian fans will be unable to watch the preliminary card for this Saturday’s Strikeforce event on Super Channel. Instead the channel will be running a one-hour block of past Ronda Rousey and Sarah Kaufman fights leading into the main card at 10pm EST.

**Here is the main card for the Strikeforce card on Saturday night in San Diego, California and airing at 10pm EST on Showtime and Super Channel in Canada:
*Ronda Rousey Vs Sarah Kaufman for the Women’s Bantamweight Title
*Ronaldo ‘Jacare’ Souza Vs Derek Brunson
*Tarec Saffiedine Vs Roger Bowling
*Lumumba Sayers Vs Anthony Smith
*Ovince St. Preux Vs T.J. Cook

**It was revealed in USA Today on Wednesday that the main card bouts for the UFC on FOX 5 event are set. The card is scheduled for December 8th with the following fights announced:
*Benson Henderson Vs Nate Diaz for the UFC Lightweight Title
*B.J. Penn Vs Rory MacDonald
*Alexander Gustafsson Vs Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua

**Chael Sonnen announced on ‘UFC Tonight’ this past week that he will be moving back to light heavyweight for his next fight on December 29th where he will fight Forrest Griffin. This fight will be the co-feature on the year-end pay-per-view alongside Junior Dos Santos Vs Cain Velasquez for the UFC Heavyweight Title. Sonnen and Griffin fought previously in September 2003 for the IFC promotion:

**Invicta FC have announced their next card for October 6th in Kansas City, Missouri with thirteen fights announced for the show. The event will be headlined by Jessica Penne Vs Naho Sugiyama to crown the first Atomweight Champion in the company. Among the other fights announced include a bout between Shayna Baszler and Sarah D’Alelio as well as Tara LaRosa competing against Vanessa Porto. The full card is listed at InvictaFC.com.
