Fight Network is currently presenting World Series of Fighting 1 live from Las Vegas, featuring Andrei Arlovski, and the MMA debut of Tyrone Spong.

Andrei Arlovski vs. Devin Cole

Rd. 1

The main event is under way as Arlovski uses some good footwork to evade Cole's hands. Arlovski connects with a solid combo. Cole shoots in for a single leg takedown but Arlovski fends him off as they transition into a cage clinch. Cole does little damage before they separate. Arlovski instantly answers with a big right hand that drops Cole solid. Arlovski jumps on him and lands a couple of hammer fists. The referee calls it and this one is over in a hurry.

Winner: Andrei Arlovski via TKO, Round 1

Anthony Johnson vs. DJ Linderman

Rd. 1

Johnson stuffs a takedown attempt and answers with some strong strikes. Johnson lands a strong low blow that has Linderman keeled over in pain. Johnson lands a big head kick after action resumes. Johnson counter punching well. Johnson drops him with a huge leg kick and follows up with powerful strikes. Johnson now really working the leg kicks. Johnson scores with a takedown and works some body shots from the top. Linderman tries to get up against the cage and gives up his back. Johnson now punishing him with strikes and strong knees to the body. Both men get back to the feet. Johnson gets caught with a shot to the eye. Linderman tries to jump on him while he's hurt, but Johnson responds with a thundering right counter punch that knocks Linderman out cold. Linderman falls flat on his face and this one is over.

Winner: Anthony Johnson via KO, Round 1

Miguel Torres vs. Marlon Moraes

Rd. 1

Round 1 is under way as both men feel each other out. Things pick up quickly when Torres goes for a leg kick and eats a combination of strikes. After a brief scramble on the ground both men get back to the feet. Torres looking slightly more tentative now. Torres eats a strong right hook before backing Moraes into the cage. The crowd is hooting and hollering boisterously now as Moraes lands another big right hook followed by an uppercut. Torres is now bleeding from the head. Moraes pushing forward with strikes and head kicks as the round comes to a close.

Rd. 2

Torres starts off the round much more aggressively and eats some punches for his trouble. Torres trying to stay mobile to avoid getting punched, but Moraes ansering by mixing things up with leg kicks. Moraes displays some great head movement counter-punching with Torres. Torres' leg is looking red from absorbing damage. Moraes is evading punches well. Moraes lands a strong spinning side kick to the body. Torres comes in for a combination and gets staggered with a 1,2 combination. Moraes defending strikes well.

10-9 Moraes

Both men looking tentative as they become more conservative with their shots. Moraes lands another strong leg kick. Torres gets stuffed on a weak takedown attempt. Torres can't seem to land much of anything as Moraes displays more strong stand-up defense. Moraes looks far more reserved this round as he knows he's ahead on the scorecards. Moraes misses with a big spinning head kick. Torres is starting to land more now as Moraes begins to slow down. Torres beginning to fight more desperately, he knows he needs this round. Moraes again showing some good head movement. Fans surprisingly booing what has been a fairly exciting stand-up display. Moraes scores with a takedown in the final minute and now looks content laying and praying. Torres is striking frantically, boxing the ears of Moraes as time expires.

Winner: Marlon Moraes via Split decision

Travis Bartlett vs. Tyrone Spong

Rd. 1

Spong lands a huge head kick right out of the gate. Spong allows Bartlett back to his feet. Bartlett is bleeding from the ear less than a minute into the fight. Bartlett looking very tentative as Spong controls the centre of the cage. Spong works some impressive boxing for about a minute or so until he absolutely levels Bartlett with a straight right hand. This one is over before Spong even gets warmed up.

Winner: Tyrone Spong via KO, Round 1
