WWE Survivor Series Report

Welcome to The LAW’s coverage of WWE Survivor Series from Indianapolis, Indiana.
We start off with the YouTube pre-show.
Zack Ryder & Santino Marella Vs Heath Slater & Jinder Mahal
Marella is getting beaten down and comes back with a double clothesline attempt but misses both.
Ryder gets tagged in and hits a missile dropkick to Mahal and the Broski boot but Slater breaks the cover. Slater knocks Marella into the barricade as Ryder attacks both but gets hit in the back by Drew McIntyre with the cast on his left hand and Mahal hits a full nelson slam and pins Ryder for the win at 5:55.
Josh Mathews is with R-Truth but Mathews wants to interview Little Jimmy and Truth says he is the only one here and will bring the U.S. Title back to America. Then this skit continued with Little Jimmy coming out of the washroom and I stopped paying attention.
The opening of the show features a video package on the 364 days of Punk’s reign starting at last year’s Survivor Series.
The announce crew is Michael Cole, JBL and Jerry Lawler.
First up is bonus Survivor Series elimination match.
Brodus Clay & Justin Gabriel & Tyson Kidd & Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara Vs Prime Time Players & Tensai & Primo & Epico
Cole brings up some historical notes about the first show in 1987 and Rock debuting in 1996.
Sin Cara got tagged in and ahs a series of great sequences with Primo and then Lawler referred to him as “Carlito”.
Clay gets a hot tag and runs wild on the heels and all sent to the floor as Gabriel and Kidd hit simultaneous suicide dives and then stereo Asai moonsaults by Sin Cara and Mysterio. Clay messed up a spot with Tensai and then takes a running senton and Clay is eliminated first.
Tensai with the running senton to Gabriel but he kicks out. Tensai goes for another and misses as Gabriel crucifixes him for the elimination.
Kidd eliminates Titus O’Neil next with a nice roll up. Kidd then applies the sharpshooter and eliminates Epico. It’s down to Primo and Darren Young on the heel side.
Mysterio uses La Magistral cradle to pin Primo and it’s 4 on 1 for the babyfaces.
Mysterio hits the 619, Sin Cara with swanton, Gabriel with moonsault and Kidd with springboard elbow drop and then finishes with Mysterio hitting a top rope splash for the win at 18:27.
Kaitlyn is walking in the back and gets attacked by the blond attacker and it is revealed to be Aksana. Eve walks in hoping she is okay and Kaitlyn knocks her down saying she hopes Eve is okay.
Eve Vs Kaitlyn for the Diva’s Title
Funny spot was Eve kicking Kaitlyn in the face and JBL noting “that came right out of the Gracie gym” (Jit-Jitsu 101 begins with kicks to the face).
Eve with a head scissors on the ground but Kaitlyn escapes and kicks Eve to the ground. Kaitlyn tosses her around by the hair and takes a shoulder block and gut buster to Eve off of her shoulders for a two-count.
Kaitlyn yanks her leg and she falls down on the outside apron and then hits her roll of the dice finish for the win at 7:00.
They announce David Otunga is taking the spot of the injured Cody Rhodes.
Team Foley is arguing with each other and Foley tells them to stop arguing and they have to get along tonight and gives a pep talk. They all come in for a team cheer except Randy Orton who tells Mick “I hate you” and Foley says that means “he’s ready”.
Antonio Cesaro comes out and says Thanksgiving makes no sense and America has nothing to be thankful for citing their economy, bad infrastructure and obesity rate and they can only be thankful for him being their champion.
Antonio Cesaro Vs R-Truth for the U.S. Title
Truth with a heel kick and gets a two-count and then a vertical suplex into a jaw breaker for another two-count.
Cesaro hits an uppercut and then the Neutralizer for the win at 6:58.
They recap the SCANDAL between AJ and John Cena,
AJ comes out and has her own evidence against Vickie, who then comes out.
AJ has photos of Vickie and Ricardo Rodriguez eating burritos together, with JR’s barbeque sauce over her face, dancing with Brodus in a hotel room as the announcers did the most painful fake and awkward laughing.
AJ says that if Vickie lays a hand on her then the Board of Directors will fire her and this leads to Tamina attacking AJ from behind and laying her out and hits a top rope splash.
Josh Mathews is with Paul Heyman in the back and is asked if Punk has anything left in his back of tricks. Heyman says Punk will not only survive but he will “thrive” and is the best of these three “great” competitors.
Big Show Vs Sheamus for the World Title
Big Show’s left hamstring is all taped up.
Sheamus clips Show’s knee and ties him up in the ropes. Sheamus comes off the turnbuckle and gets speared in mid-air.
Big Show gets the advantage and wears down Sheamus. Sheamus gets a sleeper hold but tossed off.
Sheamus gets Show on his shoulders and hits an electric chair for a huge pop and Sheamus gets a two-count. Sheamus with a running knee and gets Show off his feet for his comeback. Show catches the Brogue kick but then KO punch is blocked and Sheamus hits White Noise for a two-count.
Sheamus goes for the Brogue kick but Show pulls Scott Armstrong in to take the kick and is out cold. The other officials check on Armstrong as Show hits the knockout punch and another referee counts the fall at 14:45 but they overrule the finish and Big Show is disqualified.
Sheamus attacks Big Show over and over with a chair after the match and probably sets up Chair Match for TLC next month. Sheamus ends his post match attack with a Brogue kick in the aisle.
As Big Show crawls to the back there is a “We Want Ziggler” chant but no dice.
Dolph Ziggler & Alberto Del Rio & Damien Sandow & David Otunga & Wade Barrett Vs Randy Orton & Kofi Kingston & Kane & Daniel Bryan & The Miz
Sandow gets beaten down by Bryan and teases leaving, but Kane brings him back. Kane choke slams Sandow and he is eliminated at the 3:00 mark.
Kane and Bryan argue and sends Bryan to the floor and Ziggler comes from behind with the Zig Zag and eliminates Kane.
Otunga in with Bryan and casually lies on Bryan for a pin attempt and Bryan turns it into the No Lock and eliminates Otunga.
Barrett hits Kingston with a black hole slam and Bull Hammer (short elbow) and eliminates Kingston.
Del Rio blocks the No Lock and is able to apply the armbar and tap out Bryan.
The Miz comes in with Barrett and Barrett goes for Wasteland but Miz blocks and hits Skull Crushing Finale to eliminate Barrett.
Del Rio in and hits running enzugiri to back of Miz’s head in the corner and pins Miz and it’s down to Del Rio & Ziggler against Orton.
Orton goes for Ricardo but Del Rio with running enzugiri to Orton as Foley attacks Ricardo with Mr. Socko.
Orton counters cross arm breaker attempt to hit RKO and pin Del Rio.
Orton goes for RKO but Ziggler holds the ropes and hits Zig Zag for a near fall. Orton is bleeding from the lip as he hits the draping DDT after recovering.
Orton backs up teasing the punt kick but Ziggler superkicks him while going o deliver it and pins Orton at 23:42 and is the sole survivor.
CM Punk Vs John Cena Vs Ryback for the WWE Title
They send Punk to the floor as Cena and Ryback go back and forth, crowd not at the level you would think after all the teasing on television.
Punk applies a last chancery on Cena but Ryback lifts and powerslams Punk.
Ryback hits the clothesline and goes for the Shell Shock but Cena hits him from behind and applies the STF but gets out of the hold.
Ryback sends both to the floor but Punk and Cena beat him down. The two work together and suplex Ryback through the announce table.
Cena hits the five knuckle shuffle but Punk pops back up and hits the GTS and Cena kicks out. Cena then pops up an hits the AA for a near fall. Cena gets the STF applied and back is back to life and pulls Cena out and clotheslines him.
Ryback goes for the Shell Shock and hits it on Punk, Cena breaks the cover. Ryback lifts Cena and hits the Shell Shock.
Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose run in and attack Ryback and powerbomb him through the table and Punk covers Cena for the win at 17:56.
