Day 5 of World Karate Federation Championships 2012

France with 5 world champions in individual category and with two team titles in KUMITÉ both male and female has been the great winner of this 21st Edition of the World Karate Championships that has been taking place from last Wednesday up today when it has been enjoying the most exciting day.

If on Saturday the 16.000 people that were packed Paris Bercy fired the enthusiasm with the good job of their compatriots and had amaizing sports gesture (“Fair Play”) with the rivals – specially with the Japanese Karateka RIKA USAMI – this Sunday, the passion was unleashed with the performance of the teams.

A extremely performance of the French Karatekas who have prepared very carefully this historic appointment has finished with an excelent reward and the feeling of being enjoyed a very unique event. It has been very special for the French supporters and specially for the KARATE family because they have shown to the world its great organization skills, the support they have, the beauty of this sport and the most important thing: the values of the most pure tradition on line with the Olympic Movement.

Antonio Espinós, President of the WKF has stated today – in press conference – his satisfaction and pride for the strenght of the KARATE and that has reached the top in Paris Bercy during this Championships but that from the Federation he is managing the KARATE is being encourage with popular and raprochement campaigns in all over the world since many years ago.

The President of the WKF has declared that KARATE is ready for giving value to the Olympic Movement and he is confident that this letter of presentation and together with all the things that have been done and will be done – from the maximum respect and excellence, become true the dream of BE OLYMPIC.
