Adrien Broner Freestyle Rap with Meek Mill
Corey Erdman / November 26, 2012 - 1:57pm
In case you didn't know, Adrien Broner has decided to join the distinguished lineage of boxers who are also musicians, a list that includes Larry Holmes, Joe Frazier, Oscar De La Hoya and of course, Floyd Mayweather.
A few weeks back, Broner released his first music video for "On Everything."
The video was essentially a sped up MTV Cribs tour of his house bookended by clips of him and his girlfriend canoodling.
To be fair, the song isn't any worse than say, the average LMFAO song, which is a lot more than other boxer-rappers can say. Yes, you, Steve Cunningham.
Broner is also now surrounding himself with successful rappers, such as Waka Flocka Flame and Kendrick Lamar, who have walked him to the ring for his past two bouts. It doesn't seem to be just for show either—"The Problem" is kicking it with A-list rappers outside of the fight venue as well, riding the tour bus and hanging out with Meek Mill recently.
The two got a freestyle going and recorded the action just the other week:
"The Problem" seems like the real deal in the squared circle. What would his chances be in the rap battle arena, though?
