BAMMA 11 LIVE TODAY @ 4 p.m. ET on Fight Network

Toronto – Canada's Fight Network, the world's premier 24/7 television channel dedicated to complete coverage of combat sports, will be broadcasting BAMMA 11 live from Birmingham, U.K. this Saturday, December 1, at 4 p.m. ET.

Fight Network's live broadcast of BAMMA 11, emanating from Birmingham's National Indoor Arena, is headlined by Jack "The Hammer" Marshman vs. Xavier Foupa-Pokam in a middleweight showdown.

"The Canadian home for world-class international mixed martial arts, Fight Network has aired BAMMA's exciting live events for the past several years," said Chad Midgley, VP of Programming & Production. "With exceptional production value and matchmaking, BAMMA has produced some tremendous fight cards thus far and we've received some great response from our Canadian viewers."

The 22-year-old Marshman (11-1) is 3-1 under the BAMMA banner, suffering his lone professional setback to recent UFC signee Tom Watson in March 2012. The Lydney, England native is coming off a first-round triangle choke victory over Andrew Punshon at BAMMA 10 this past September. An active serviceman in the British Armed Forces, Marshman is hoping a victory on Saturday will earn him more marquee opponents.

The 30-year-old Foupa-Pokam (22-18) is no stranger to longtime mixed martial arts fans, having competed in Cage Rage, DEEP, and, most recently, the Ultimate Fighting Championship. A native of Paris, the French Top Team product is hoping to rebound from a recent career-worst skid that has seen him drop nine of his last 11 fights. With a wealth of international experience and dangerous strikes, "Professor X" is hoping to return to the win column in hostile territory.
