Welcome to The LAW’s coverage of WWE TLC from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

The YouTube pre-show starts off with Sheamus in the locker room and Booker T walks in and explains why he made the “no contact” clause and tells Sheamus he can shut Big Show up tonight and gives him a chair – not the most impartial General Manager.

Michael Cole and Josh Mathews are in the back and give out the WWE.com Slammy Awards:

Santa’s Helper Diva’s Battle Royal

Participants are: Tamina, Kaitlyn, Natalya, Cameron, Naomi, Aksana, Rosa Mendes and Alicia Fox.

It comes down to Naomi and Kaitlyn and Eve distracts Kaitlyn and allows Naomi to dropkick her out and gets the Diva’s Title shot later on the pay-per-view.

They rang the bell 26-times for the victims of the school shootings in Newtown, Connecticut.

The pay-per-view begins with a video building up the TLC Match.

The announce team is Michael Cole, JBL and Jerry Lawler.

Sandow comes out and makes fun of Brooklyn hipsters and calls them “unwashed” an trying to be cool but failing miserably.

Team Rhodes Scholars Vs Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara in a #1 Contender’s Tables Match

Mysterio places Sandow on the table early but Rhodes saves him before Sin Cara can come off the turnbuckle.

Rhodes has Sin Cara on his shoulders and tries to move the steel steps but no luck. They place Sin Cara’s leg behind the steps and drive a table into it.

The entire arena is chanting “Cody’s mustache” as they set up two tables on the floor.

Mysterio with a seated senton to Rhodes on the floor and a springboard crossbody by Sin Cara to Sandow and a corkscrew plancha follow up.

Mysterio hits the 619 to Rhodes and put him on the table, climbs to the top but Sandow crotches him and then drive a table into him and he falls to the floor.

Sin Cara went for a springboard and Rhodes shoved him in mid-air back to the floor and through a table for the finish at 9:31.

The Shield has a promo saying they will feed Ryback more than he can handle and criticizes the lack of unity between Kane and Daniel Bryan and are a “disgrace” to all tag teams.

Antonio Cesaro Vs R-Truth for the U.S. Title

Cesaro has the advantage and starts ramming Truth into the turnbuckle and Truth no sells them and fights back.

Truth hits a scissors kick and follow up dropkick. Cesaro then sends Truth into the corner and Truth avoids running into the referee but it allows Cesaro to hit the Neutralizer when Truth turns around and gets the win at 6:39.

Matt Striker interviews Cesaro and asks about the negative reaction he receives. Cesaro says he is a true International super power unlike the U.S. and the great U.S. Champion in history. He draws the conclusion that Americans booing him is like booing yourself.

They promote Tribute to the Troops and play some video messages from some of the troops.

Josh Mathews interviews Dolph Ziggler and says he doesn’t win anything in this match tonight and none of it makes sense. Ziggler says Cena may fall apart after tonight and he promises than “everything changes tonight”.

The Miz comes out for Miz TV and brings out 3MB.

Miz insults them and McIntyre says they are bigger than Jay-Z. They say they will perform on Raw tomorrow night.

3MB goes to the Spanish announce table and start bullying the announcers until Ricardo Rodriguez comes down to stop them, they attack Ricardo and then Alberto Del Rio makes the save and does his babyface turn. The Miz helps ADR and then 3MB challenge them to a match with Miz and Del Rio having to find a partner for later tonight.

Daniel Bryan is with Kane and discusses Ryback’s catch phrase and cannot stand people that say the same thing over and over again. Kane says it doesn’t matter what he say but what he does and leads to Bryan chanting “Yes” over and over when Kane lists what they do to he Shield.

Matt Striker is with Wade Barrett and says he will neuter “The Wild Cat” Kofi Kingston.

Kofi Kingston Vs Wade Barrett for the Intercontinental Title

The announcers discuss the Slammy Awards and how Lawler has already won one this year and JBL says “he cheated, he had a heart attack”.

Kingston clotheslines Barrett to the floor and hits a suicide dive.

Kingston hits the S.O.S. and Barrett kicks out, Kingston with a cross body off the top but Barrett rolls on top for a two.

Barrett hits the black hole slam and gets another two-count. Barrett sets him up for the Bull Hammer elbow but Kingston turns around and hits the Trouble in Paradise and gets the win at 8:12.

CM Punk and Paul Heyman are in a skybox and Punk calls the fans “animals” and won’t give a status update on his knee and calls Ryback and the people “dumb”. He cuts a great promo on how he separates fact from fiction and the facts are he has beaten Ryback and he “just a man” and is just getting started as WWE Champion.

Ryback & Daniel Bryan & Kane Vs The Shield in a TLC Match

Ryback is dropping the ladder onto Rollins and Ambrose repeatedly until Roman Reigns attacks Ryback with a chair.

The Shield beats down Ryback and have him selling Ryback comes back and vertical suplexes both Ambrose and Rollins onto a ladder. Once they recover it’s 3 on 1 with Ryback taking chair and ladder shots.

They take Ryback to the Spanish announce table and Ryback is powerbombed through the table. Daniel Bryan hits all three with a suicide dive and crowd is very hot for it.

Ambrose scoop slams Bryan with a chair underneath him. They set up a table on draped across the top rope and hit Daniel Bryan with a superplex off of it.

Kane hits a top rope clothesline from the table that is still draped over the top. Kane then choke slams Ambrose through a chair but Reigns makes the save.

On the floor Reigns clips the knee of Kane and spears him through the barricade nd bury him under the debris.

Bryan uses the No Lock on all of them but it keeps getting broken up. They set up a chair and Rollins curb stomped Bryan face first on it but Ryback then returns to the ring and attacks all three.

Ryback spears Ambrose, clothesline to Reigns and hits the Shell Shock to Ambrose but Rollins makes the save.

They fight Ryback down the aisle and it’s 3 on 1 as Ambrose whips a chair at the back of his head. They put him on a table as Rollins climbs a massive ladder but Ryback gets up, climbs and sends Rollins through a stack of tables.

Back in the Reigns and Ambrose powerbomb Bryan through a table and pin him at 22:44 before Ryback can get back. This was an excellent match.

Eve Vs Naomi for the Diva’s Title

They were in a terrible spot but I thought Naomi looked pretty good and there is no question she should be working in the ring and not simply a dancer.

Naomi flipped over the top rope to the outside apron and back in and did a number of athletic spots.

The finish looked off as Naomi missed her footing on the top and went for a cross boyd after Eve was clearly out of the way and Eve hit her finish for the win at 3:06.

Matt Striker asks Big Show if Sheamus has any chance of winning tonight (WWE Journalism at its finest) and Show says Sheamus should have violated the contract so he didn’t have to face him.

Big Show Vs Sheamus in a Chairs Match for the World Title

Sheamus runs at Show with a chair on the floor and Show kicks it into Sheamus.

Sheamus hits him with three chairs shots in the ring then body slams Big Show.

Sheamus came off the turnbuckle with a chair and shoulder blocked Show, he did it again and Show tackled him and sent him to the floor.

There was a vocal “Ole” chant from the crowd.

Show put a chair onto the chest of Sheamus and went for the Vader bomb and hit it but only got a two-count.

Sheamus gets up and hits the White Noise to Show through a chair and gets a two-count. Shiw gets out of the way of the Brogue kick and hits the knockout punch and goes for the cover but Sheamus kicks out at two.

Show pulls out this gigantic chair and hits Sheamus in the back with it and gets the pin at 14:17.

John Cena is in the back and AJ comes up wearing a Cena shirt and wants to apologize, Cena says she doesn’t need to and will take Ziggler’s identity tonight when he takes his briefcase.

3MB Vs The Miz & Alberto Del Rio & Brooklyn Brawler

The Miz brings out Brawler to a good reaction as their mystery partner.

Del Rio hits a crazy suicide dive to McIntyre on the floor, Ricardo pulls Slater to the floor and Miz hits the Skull Crushing Finale and tags in Brawler to apply the Brooklyn (Boston) crab on Jinder Mahal for the win at 3:14.

Dolph Ziggler Vs John Cena in a Ladder Match for the MITB Briefcase

The crowd is very pro-Ziggler and hot for the match right from the start.

Cena is cut right from the side of his right eye early in the match.

On the floor Cena runs the steel steps right into the head of Ziggler.

They go back and forth with punches and Ziggler applies the sleeper to a big reaction and Cena tries climbing with the sleeper on and eventually falls off and both go through the table and the sleeper is broken.

They did an unbelievable spot where Cena dead lifted the ladder with Ziggler on top of it and went to AA the ladder and Ziggler but he got off the ladder.

Cena applies the STF in the ring and Ziggler is out. Cena tries for the AA but Ziggler pops off and hits the Zig Zag. Cena tries again and Ziggler again gets off and hits a big DDT.

The two climb the ladder and go back and forth with punches and Ziggler falls off the ladder. Ziggler climbs back up and pulls down Cena.

Cena attempted a hurricanarana that looked terrible but Ziggler sold it big and went through a table.

Ziggler cross body off the top and Cena rolls on top and lifts up Ziggler to his shoulder but Ziggler grabs a chair and attacks Cena with it.

Vickie comes into the ring with a chair and then AJ runs in and attacks Vickie and does a bunch of Cena moves.

Cena climbs the ladder and AJ pushes the ladder, Cena falls off and eats a super kick from Ziggler. AJ leaves and Ziggler climbs and grabs the briefcase for the win at 23:14.
