LAW Jan. 21 Update - The Rock, Ric Flair Scheduled for Raw

**Tonight Raw is in San Jose, California for the final Raw before the Royal Rumble this Sunday and both The Rock and Ric Flair scheduled for tonight’s show. There are lots of different directions they can go for the final segment and interaction between Rock and Punk but as we discussed last night the big promos from both guys seems to be the best bet and do the big sell job on the Rumble. We will probably get at least one more match involving Kaitlyn defending the Diva’s Title added to the Rumble (with the tease of Layla on Smackdown this past Friday).

**The Smackdown and Main Event tapings are in Sacramento tomorrow night.
**The TNA crew begins their week-long overseas tour today with a show in Dublin, Ireland and then have Tuesday off before heading to England. They will be taping all the February editions of Impact Wrestling this week on the tour. Jeff Hardy is the key talent not on the tour due to his felony conviction that prevents him from travelling there.
**Jimmy Korderas and I preview the Royal Rumble this Sunday and Korderas shares his memories of the infamous Mil Mascaras elimination from the 1997 Rumble and we ask “who will draw #27 this year?”:
**MVP clarified his contract status with New Japan Pro Wrestling on Twitter last night posting that he is on a “per appearance” deal with the organization and thus doesn’t have any restrictions from jumping if he was given an offer.
**Broadcasting and Cable reported this morning that FX is looking to branch the cable network into two off shoots by converting the Speed Channel and FUEL into FOX Sports 1 and FOX Sports 2 and will have a big effect on UFC programming and where it is programmed on the networks. **Newcomer Josh Janousek has pulled out of this Saturday’s UFC on FOX 6 undercard fight with Michael Kuiper due to an injury. The UFC has scratched the fight from the card and will only put Kuiper in a fight if another fighter needs a new opponent at his weight class.
