**Below is an interview with Bret Hart conducted by Fighting Spirit Magazine out of the U.K. and is getting a lot of reaction due to Hart’s outspoken critique of Triple H calling him a “good” but not “great” performer and goes a bit far saying he never had a “great match” and was not high on his Hell in a Cell match with The Undertaker last year:
**CM Punk calls into the Abe Kanan Show on Sirius to speak with Tom Dotterer, the man who was shot in the eye and pissed Punk lost the title to The Rock:

**Bellator’s third week on Spike TV averaged 705,000 viewers and was their third week of decline but given the line up for this week’s show with no hook I would be very happy with the number this week.

**For those that missed the Bellator card last night you need to go out of your way to see the pre-fight video for Will Brooks discussing his recently deceased adopted mother, who died of cancer. They aired the video and showed his adopted father in the audience crying after the video followed by Brooks defeating Ricardo Tirloni and then breaking down during the post-fight interview with Jimmy Smith and was one of the most emotional post fight interviews I have ever seen. On a lighter side was Lloyd Woodard’s pre-fight video, which was so awesome describing his last fight where his girlfriend “Adrian” was at cage side and showed how happy she was he won and thought this would be the typical pre-fight video and then Woodard announced she dumped him two-days later and hooked up with a new guy right after that, has a new girlfriend and then thanked “Jesus and shit” – this is a must see video but unfortunately Woodard lost a unanimous decision to David Rickels.
**Here are the main card results from the Bellator MMA card last night in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan:
*Alexander Sarnavskiy over Thiago Michel by rear-naked choke at 3:43 of Round 2
*Saad Awad over Guillaume DeLorenzi by TKO at 0:31 of Round 1
*Will Brooks over Ricardo Tirloni by unanimous decision (30-27 all)
*David Rickels over Lloyd Woodard by unanimous decision (29-28 all)
**All the main card fights were quarterfinals for the lightweight tournament with the following semi-final fights locked:
*David Rickels Vs Alexander Sarnavskiy
*Saad Awad Vs Will Brooks
**The UFC has announced a partnership with Fight Metric to create an official set of rankings for the first time in company history. UFC president Dana White announced that there will be lists compiled by 90 members of the MMA media for all weight divisions and pound for pound rankings in an effort to make the sport easier to follow to those new to the sport. White has stated this will not dictate matchmaking but simply a tool for new fans of the UFC to follow it more easily. I only see this as being added fuel to anger people when a top guy is passed over for a fight that make more business sense and the UFC has to appeal to both arguments when conducting matchmaking.
