ONE FC 7: Return of Warriors LIVE on FN Play-By-Play

Fight Network is presenting a live broadcast of ONE FC 7: Return of Warriors from the Putra Indoor Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Follow the live blog below:

-Eric Kelly vs. Honorio Banario

Round 1:

Both men touch gloves to start this all Philipino matchup. Kelly throws a teep kick that pushes Banario off balance. Kelly looks to clinch up but Banario lands a couple good punches before getting free. Banario being far more active early as he moves in and out with his strikes. Wild spinning back-fist misses for Kelly as Banario lands a hard outside low kick. Nice front kick lands flush on Banario's face, but he's unfazed as he moves forward. Kelly trying to get moving a little more as the first frame closes.

10-9 Banario

Round 2:

Inside leg kick early from Banario. Kelly answers with a series of his own kicks. Banario moves in a little too close and Kelly grazes him with an overhand right. Kelly with another wild overhand right and this time it connects. Kelly tries to follow up the punch with a takedown, but Banario moves away. Banario tries to charge forward and land some strikes of his own but Kelly is quick to tie up. Kelly again looks for a takedown, but Banario stuffs it and separates  Kelly tries the overhand right again, but this time it misses by a mile. Banario clinches up and throws Kelly down briefly before he gets back up.

Round 3:

Banario rushes in quickly to engage but Kelly tags him with a counter right. Banario answers with a hard left hand that gets Kelly's attention. Kelly clinches up with Banario but is unable to hold him for long. Kelly tries the overhand again but he can't seem to find the timing. Banario definitely the aggressor now, as he moves forward with punch kick combinations. Kelly just standing in front of Banario now, not even trying to fight back. Banario looking super comfortable as he tee's off on Kelly. Kelly shoots a sloppy double leg, but its easily defended by Banario.

10-9 Banario

Round 4:

Banario picks up where he left off and immedietly attacks Kelly. Hard body kick lands for Banario followed by a solid left hook. Kelly looks like he's complaining from an eye poke and stops fighting, forcing the referee to call an end to the fight. Because Yuji Shimda didn't see the eye poke he can't call the break and so Banario is declared the winner.

Winner: Honorio Banario via TKO (Referee Stoppage) at 1:01, Round 4

-Roy Docyogen vs. Shinichi Kojima

Round 1:

Both men feeling each other out early. Kojima receives an accidental eye poke, but is quick to shrug if off and continue. Hard leg kick lands for Docyogen forcing Kojima to clinch up. Nice takedown scores for Kojima who settles into guard. Docyogen scrambles back to his feet but Kojima clinches him up against the fence. Docyogen pushes the Japanese fighter off and returns to the center of the cage. Docyogen goes low and than high with a pair of kicks that score. Docyogen starting to pick up the pace now, throwing a higher volume of strikes as the round closes out.

Round 2:

Thunderous low kicks connecting for Docyogen to start the second frame. Kojima has had enough of getting kicked and scores with a beautiful trip takedown. Kojima tries to take the back of his opponent, but slips off and allows Docyogen to stand. Again Docyogen attacking the lead leg of Kojima with hard low kicks. Kojima tries to charge forward but eats a couple of hard right hands for his troubles. Kojima initiates a clinch but its Docyogen who's in control. Kojima decides to jump guard into a guillotine and wouldn't you know it he pulls it off and hands Docyogen his first ever loss.

Winner: Shinichi Kojijma via Submission (Guillotine) at 4:47, Round 2

-Vuyisile Colossa vs. Lowen Tynanes

Round 1:

Tynanes knows he doesn't want to stand with Colossa and immedietly takes his South African opponent to the mat. Colossa quickly gets an under hook on the left side and uses it to get back to his feet. both men exchange light punches before Tynanes decides to shoot another takedown. Colossa does a good job of keeping his balance and remaining on his feet, but Tynanes is quick to switch to a single leg and rips his opponent to the ground. Tynanes working in half guard before taking Colossa's back. Tynanes quickly sinks in a rear-naked choke but can't get under the chin of Colossa. Tynanes gives up the move and transitions into an arm-triangle choke. Colossa again defends and gets to his feet right before the end of the first round.

10-9 Tynanes

Round 2:

Big overhand right connects for Tynanes to kick off the second round. Colossa looking comfortable on the feet as he moves around. Tynanes' had enough and decides to take the fight back down to the ground. Colossa throwing elbows from the bottom trying to get any type of offense going. Tynanes decides to stand up and begins to check a cut on his own head. The referee decides to check the cut and stops the action momentarily. Fight resumes, Colossa the aggressor now throwing straight punches at the cut of Tynanes. Hard low kicks crashing into the legs of Tynanes who's getting tired. More leg kicks score for Colossa who is on a real roll for the first time in this fight. Colossa backs Tynanes up to the fence and starts hammering him with a series of sharp elbows. Tynanes is game, and even scores a takedown late but its too little too late.

10-9 Colossa

Round 3:

Not even 10 seconds into the round Tynanes scores a double leg takedown. Colossa trying desperetly to get back to his feet but Tynanes holding him down. Tynanes bleeding heavily all over Colossa while he works short punches to the head. Colossa regains his full guard and lands a huge upkick to the face of Tynanes. Despite eating the kick, Tynanes used the momentum to move to side control. Tynanes looking for some crazy type of back control and ends up taking the back of Colossa. Less than a minute left, Tynanes working hard for a rear-naked choke and eventually gets it.

Winner: Lowen Tynanes via Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 4:37, Round 3

-Peter Davis vs. Leo Krishna

Round 1:

Krishna comes out swinging wild before shooting in for a double leg takedown. Krishna takes Davis down but is quickly swept and put on his back. Davis mounts, but its Krishna looking for a possible leg lock. Krishna can't get a good hold on the move and decides to abandon it. Davis moves back to mount and begins to land short punches to the head. Krishna is able to buck Davis off and gets back up, but the referee stops the fight to have a look at a cut on Krishna's lip. The doctor takes one look at Krishna and calls the fight off.

Winner: Peter Davis via TKO (Doctor's Stoppage) at 2:01, Round 1

-Adam Kayoom vs. Zuli Silawanto

Round 1:

Kayoom charges out and takes the center of the cage. Huge swinging right hand connects for Kayoom who is taunting Silawando. Kayoom grabs a hold of Silawanto and easily throws him to the ground. Kayoom working from half guard looking to pass. Kayoom moves to side control but Silawanto does a good job of neutralizing Kayoom and regaining half guard. Kayoom begins to knee Silawanto in the head from side position before taking mount. Kayoom lands some hard shots from the top forcing Silawanto to give up his back. Kayoom see's the opportunity and sinks in a tight rear-naked choke for the win.

Winner: Adam Kayoom via Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) Round 1

-Thanh Vu vs. Mohamed Fuzi

Round 1:

Fuzi is taking this fight on ultra short notice. Vu Walks in and lands flush with a straight right hand. Again Vu crushes Fuzi with a hard right. Vu rocks Fuzi and pins him up against the cage where he unloads with knee strikes forcing the referee to stop the fight.

Winner: Thanh Vu via TKO (Strikes) at 1:03, Round 1

-Melvin Yeoh vs. Raymond Tiew

Round 1:

Yeoh switching stances around early looking to find his range. Nice front kick by Yeoh pushes Tiew back hard. Tiew clinches up and slams Yeoh down. Tiew caught in a high guard by Yeoh who's looking to get one arm in and set up a possible triangle choke. Tiew pushes away and decides to stand back up. Yeoh trying to confuse Tiew with his stance changes but gets tagged with two hard right hands. Yeoh clinches up and scores with a takedown of his own. Yeoh trying to throw some big shots from the top but nothing lands solid. Yeoh looks to stomp Tiew's head but again nothing doing any real damage. Tiew is able to push Yeoh off momentarily but he's quickly taken back down to the canvas.

10-9 Yeoh

Round 2:

Tiew working some nice kicks to open the second round. Yeoh stalking Tiew around but its Tiew who's getting off the better strikes. Huge body kick lands for Yeoh who's got Tiew on the run. Yeoh working hard low kicks to the outside of Tiew's leg. Again a hard leg kick connects for Yeoh, forcing Tiew to close the distance and clinch up. Tiew completes a nice takedown but is quickly caught in a triangle choke. Tiew looking to stack his opponent, but Yeoh does a nice job of securing the submission and getting the tap.

Winner: Melvin Yeoh via Submission (Triangle Choke) at 3:29, Round 2

-Aj Lias Mansor vs. Jian Kai Chee

Round 1:

Mansor comes flying in quickly with a right hand and scores a takedown. He immediately passes to full mount and begins to rain down shots on Chee. Mansor looks to stay heavy on top, but Chee is able to explode and get back to his feet. Mansor again comes flying in with a big overhand right and scores a takedown. Chee is on his back but is quick to shrug off his fellow countrymen and stand back up. Back standing, Chee is hesitant to throw any strikes for fear of getting taken down. Mansor is first to engage and locks up a guillotine after an ensuing scramble. The submission looks tight but Chee eventually works his way free. Chee is able to get back up, but its not long before Mansor drags him back down.

Round 2:

Mansor looking fatigued to start the second frame. Chee working low kicks trying to circle around his shorter opponent. Mansor decides he's had enough of the standup and decides to attempt a takedown. Chee does a nice job of sprawling out and staying upright. Back in the center of the cage, Chee using his range to set up his strikes. Mansor slips a punch and grabs a hold of Chee, taking him to the ground. Mansor working in side control. Not much action going on for Mansor who is looking to simply hold Chee down. Mansor looks to pass and Chee uses the space to stand back up. Mansor is looking completely exhausted but is still able to score takedowns whenever he chooses. Chee does a good job of pushing him off and standing back up but he's losing on the scorecards.

10-9 Mansor

Round 3:

Chee senses he needs to finish this fight to win and wastes no time getting at it. Big shots landing for Chee who's backing up his tired foe. Mansor gets a hold of Chee and backs him up against the fence. Chee circles out and starts to chop away at the legs of Mansor with kicks. Head kick just missed for Chee who is clearly in control of this third round. Mansor is just looking to survive as he clinches up along the fence. Chee shrugs Mansor to the canvas and begins to soccer kick him in the head. Mansor quickly jumps back up before scoring a late takedown. Not much going on the ground, so referee Yuji Shimada stands both men back up. Chee throws a couple kicks but as expected, Mansor closes the distance and clinches him to end the fight.

10-9 Chee

Winner: Jian Kai Chee via Unanimous Decision
