**The WWE is making a big announcement on Monday at Noon EST and will stream the announcement on WWE.com with Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, Triple H, The Rock and John Cena expected to be in attendance. This is pretty much a lock that it will be the announcement WrestleMania 30 will be held in New Orelans next year at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
**Deadspin has a huge piece on former wrestler Nigel McGuinness with a career retrospective and comments from colleagues including Gabe Sapolsky. The article is up at http://deadspin.com/5984273/how-one-mans-hard+luck-journey-through-the-indie-wrestling-circuit-ended-behind-a-deli-counter and worth checking out.
**The WWE will be in Lafayette, Louisiana tomorrow night for the Raw tapings and then in Biloxi, Mississippi Tuesday night for the Smackdown and Main Event tapings.
**After seemingly dropping the gimmick The Miz was back to using the figure-four on Friday night’s edition of Smackdown defeating Cody Rhodes.

LAW MMA UPDATE
**There is a bonus edition of The MMA Report up on the site with a full rundown of the UFC on FUEL 7 card as I go through all of the fights and discuss Dana White’s new fight against TRT abuse at http://fightnetwork.com/news/36503:the-mma-report-w-john-pollock-ufc-on-fuel-7-post-show/ and it is also available on iTunes by subscribing to The MMA Report with John Pollock.
**Here are the results from the UFC on FUEL 7 card on Saturday in front of 10,349 and a live gate of $1,300,000 at the Wembley Arena in London, England:
*Phil Harris over Ulysses Gomez by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28)
*Vaughan Lee over Motonobu Tezuka by unanimous decision (30-27 all)
*Tom Watson over Stanislav Nedkov by TKO at 4:42 of Round 2
*Andy Ogle over Josh Grispi by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28)
*Danny Castillo over Paul Sass by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28)
*Renee Forte over Terry Etim by unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28)
*Matthew Riddle over Che Mills by split decision (30-27, 28-29, 30-27)
*James Te Huna over Ryan Jimmo by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-27)
*Gunnar Nelson over Jorge Santiago by unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28)
*Jimi Manuwa over Cyrille Diabate by TKO (doctor’s stoppage) after Round 1
*Cub Swanson over Dustin Poirier by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28)
*Renan Barao over Michael McDonald by arm-triangle choke at 3:57 of Round 4
**The show featured a UFC record nine decisions on one card. There was one ridiculous score card on the show where the judge scored the Riddle vs. Mills fight 29-28b for Mills, which was just unfathomable that you could even argue a round for Mills.
**The following $50,000 bonuses were handed out after the show with Tom Watson walking home to two bonuses:
*Fight of the Night – Tom Watson vs. Stanislav Nedkov
*Knockout of the Night – Tom Watson
*Submission of the Night – Renan Barao
**The New York Times has a big story on the battle between the UFC and Bellator including information on the 2011 negotiations between the UFC and Viacom to renew with Spike with super agent Ari Emmanuel representing the UFC. The story states that the UFC wanted an extra $50-million a year in rights fees and a stake in Spike TV, which led to Viacom turning them down and purchasing a majority stake in Bellator for $50-million.
**UFC president Dana White told members of the media after the card that Nick Diaz has thus far no showed three interviews with the UFC countdown crew in Stockton, California and has cost the company a lot of money to have the crew in Stockton and not shooting anything. Diaz is scheduled to challenge Georges St-Pierre for the welterweight title on March 16th in Montreal, Quebec at UFC 158. Ariel Helwani has a response from Diaz’s lawyer Jonathan Tweedale disputing this claim at http://www.mmafighting.com/2013/2/17/3998270/dana-white-nick-diaz-missed-taping-of-three-countdown-shows-ufc-158.
**Dana White’s nickname for Bellator C.E.O. Bjorn Rebney is now “Bjork”.
**Tito Ortiz held a press conference in Huntington Beach, California on Friday afternoon that aired on AXS TV. Ortiz announced that Cris “Cyborg” Santos will not be cutting down to 135-pounds as it is “impossible” for her to make the weight. They also unveiled a poster for the next Invicta FC event happening on April 5th and that Santos would be fighting Ediane Gomes on that show (Gomes was scheduled to fight Julia Budd originally on that card).
