Jack's In Jail

Sam Pierce / February 21, 2013 - 2:01pm

Jack Swagger is amidst the biggest push of his career and has the opportunity to dethrone Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania. There’s only one thing standing in his way… the law. I’m sure most of you have heard that after this past Tuesday’s SmackDown tapings in Biloxi, Mississippi, Jack Swagger was taken into custody by the police. He was pulled over at around midnight and charged with speeding, DUI, and possession of marijuana. While all of these are misdemeanors, it’s still three hefty charges that could potentially ruin Swag’s career with the WWE. I sure as hell hope it doesn’t.

Recently, we’ve seen Kaitlyn get arrested in Grand Rapids, Michigan for an unpaid speeding ticket, and Cameron arrested in Hillsborough Country, Florida for DUI. Things got worse for Cameron after she tried to bribe the police officer in order to get off the hook. Neither of these drastically affected the Divas position within WWE as Kaitlyn is the Divas Champion and Cameron is still dancing alongside Brodus Clay in full force. WWE has a shortage of Divas right now so they can’t really afford to lose any. And I’m worried that WWE thinks Jack is replaceable. I don’t believe he is though. He’s a great wrestler, whose recent push has been really exciting. I wish him the best of luck in getting all of this sorted out and pray that he doesn’t end up jobbing, or even worse, getting released after this incident.

Any thoughts on what you think will happen to Jack Swagger? Should the WWE punish him or let him settle his own personal legal troubles on his own? Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for reading.
