**The WWE is overseas this weekend with a show in Doha, Qatar today and then in Istanbul, Turkey tomorrow and then fly back for the tapings on Monday night in Dallas, Texas. The Smackdown crew are in Waco, Texas tomorrow and then in College Station on Sunday. The Smackdown tapings are Tuesday night in Oklahoma City.
**Following Glenn Beck’s criticism of the Zeb Coulter and Jack Swagger angle, the WWE has reached out and is publicly inviting Beck to come on Raw Monday night in Dallas, Texas.
**Ric Flair is scheduled to appear this Sunday in Melbourne, Florida at a NXT event.
**Mike “The Miz” Mizanin and Maryse Ouellet are now engaged.
**The Rock’s new movie “Snitch” is out in theatres everywhere today.
**Tomorrow night Jason Agnew and I will be live on TSN 1050 Toronto right after UFC 157 finishes up with a full post show running down all of the fights and taking your phone calls at 1-855-591-6876. **Bellator averaged 737,000 viewers last night headlined by the finals of the featherweight tournament with Shahbulat Shamhalaev defeating Rad Martinez. If you missed the card it is worth checking out with two knockout of the year candidates with Emmanuel Newton stopping Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal with a spinning back fist and Ben Saunders stopping Raul Amaya with a head kick to advance to the finals of the welterweight tournament.
**UFC president Dana White announced that Cain Velasquez has signed a new eight-fight contract that replaces his old deal, which still had three fights remaining on it.
**A featherweight bout between Steven Siler and Jimy Hettes has been added to the undercard of the UFC 159 event on April 27th in Newark, New Jersey.
**Here are the main card results from Bellator’s card last night in West Valley City, Utah:
*Ben Saunders over Raul Amaya by KO at 2:56 of Round 1 in the semi-finals of the welterweight tournament
*Mikhail Zayats over Jacob Noe by armbar at 3:38 of Round 1 in the semi-finals of the light heavyweight tournament
*Douglas Lima over Bryan Baker by KO at 2:34 of Round 1 in the semi-finals of the welterweight tournament
*Emanuel Newton over Muhammed Lawal by KO at 2:35 of Round 1 in the semi-finals of the light heavyweight tournament
*Shahbulat Shamhalaev over Rad Martinez by KO at 2:12 of Round 2 in the finals of the featherweight tournament
**Shamhalaev will still have to wait for a featherweight title shot as Pat Curran has to first defend his title against Daniel Straus, which is scheduled for April 4th.
