WBC Congraulates Ortiz for 'Dancing with the Stars' Gig

The World Boxing Council congratulates Victor Ortiz on being named as a celebrity on Dancing With The Stars! The new season will begin March 18 on ABC, and feature famous personalities teamed with professional dancers to compete for the famed mirror ball.

Victor is partnered with Lindsay Arnold, a new addition to the cast this season. With his charisma and striking good looks, Victor is expected to be a favorite among the fans. On this top-rated U.S. television show, three judges score each week on the dances performed by each couple, but the voting is done by the viewers. Victor says his strategy will be to stay as competitive on the stage as he is in the ring. We look forward to watching his moves!
