LAW
LAW Jan 16 Update - TNA Impact Rating
John Pollock / January 16, 2010 - 3:16pm
**TNA ‘Impact' did a 1.25 rating on Thursday night for their first show since the January 4th show. I believe waiting ten days until their next show cost them at least 0.2 as the initial buzz and momentum coming off of that show was huge and people wanted to see the follow up. The 1.25 is a disappointing number considering all of the promotion that went into the Monday night show, however they did a poor job on that show in never mentioning that they are on Thursday nights and when the next new show would be.
**The debut of TNA ‘Epics' on Thursday night following ‘Impact' did a 0.7 rating on Spike.
**WWE ‘Superstars' did a 0.8 Thursday night on WGN America.

**Jeff Jarrett was on Danny Bonaduce's radio show on Friday and they worked an angle where Bonaduce brought up being trained on Celebrity Championship Wrestling and Jarrett didn't want to discuss CCW and then stole Bonaduce's title belt from the show and drew on his CCW poster in the studio. Jarrett challenged Bonaduce to come to one of the TNA pay per views to get the belt back and Bonaduce said he would need three months to get in shape and even threw in a line about being able to come as long as TNA doesn't do any urine tests (Bonaduce has been a huge proponent of steroid use and open about his own usage).
**TNA will be taking donations at all of the TV tapings this week in Orlando to help raise relief funds for the victims in Haiti. The WWE is also working with Ameri
**One day after taking down his Facebook page, Vince Russo is back on Facebook. Russo has been taking fan questions and they have become very entertaining to check out with the highlight being his rationale for booking a disqualification in the Steel Asylum match on ‘Impact' on January 4th and stating that it doesn't say anywhere there cannot be a DQ in a cage match and said that disqualifications can occur in a UFC cage. Jim Ross responded on his own website completely disagreeing and stating that a cage match is designed for closure to a feud and should be booked with clean finishes and stated he wasn't even a big fan of guys escaping a cage to win. Russo's last post was an open post to the wrestling media for over analyzing everything he said.
**Here is the description of the upcoming ‘Hart and Soul: The Hart Family Anthology' DVD that will be coming out later this spring:

Now for the first time ever on DVD, fans can learn the storied history of the Hart family and Stampede Wrestling in Hart and Soul: The Hart Family Anthology.
