**TNA presented an excellent pay-per-view on Sunday night from College Park Arena in Arlington, Texas in front of a tremendous crowd was said to be just shy of 6,000 and the company noted was their highest U.S. attendance in history. The stand out matches included the Tag Title Match where Kurt Angle and A.J. Styles defeated Christopher Daniels and Kazarian in a phenomenal 14-minute match with the finishing sequence involving all four executed perfectly and the opening match between Austin Aries and Samoa Joe set the tone for the audience, who added so much to the card and made the product feel extremely hot. The use of Christian (announced as Christian Cage) was TNA’s repayment for allowing Ric Flair to do the Hall of Fame and after it was all over I don’t know what TNA really got out of this other than a minor surprise for people that don’t follow Dixie Carter on Twitter. I don’t know if Christian was also doing an interview for a future DVD release as had originally been brought up in the negotiations but he didn’t seem all too happy to be on the show and didn’t add anything to the show. The choice of Sting for the Hall of Fame makes sense on a few levels as he’s been positioned as their legend since his first night with the company (Sting’s first night with the company was actually on their one-year anniversary show in June 2003 when he came in and then returned in January 2006 for the permanent run) and this allow allows TNA to beat WWE to the punch of doing a full out Hall of Fame ceremony involving Sting because you know he is a name the WWE will want to induct at some point down the road. This makes two straight pay-per-view events from TNA that were very well received and the company as a whole is clicking on a lot of levels right now and with the WWE product hurting and about to increase to three-hours TNA is in a position to be an alternative to fans that are burned out on the WWE product and many people are right now with the move to three-hours every Monday sounding terrible at this current time.
