**There will be no Review-A-Raw this Monday or next Monday due to Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve but we will be doing Review-A-Wai both Wednesdays and Review-An-Impact Fridays during the holidays. Review-A-Raw will return on Monday January 7th.
**Below is the recent video review Wai Ting and I did of WWE ’13 and is currently airing on Fight Network in Canada:
**Last night’s NBC airing of WWE’s Tribute to the Troops averaged 1,310,000 viewers. Last night’s show was a one-hour edited down version of the two-hour show that aired Wednesday night on the USA Network.
**Impact Wrestling did a 0.99 rating and averaged 1,300,000 viewers for their taped show on Thursday night on Spike TV.
**TNA has pulled Kurt Angle from the Poughkeepsie and Albany, New York house shows after Christmas so he can recuperate from his groin injury he suffered at the Final Resolution show a few weeks back during the eight-man tag. Angle is expected to be at the next set of television tapings on January 3rd.
**In case you missed this past week’s edition of Impact they announced that Sting is returning on January 3rd to confront Aces and 8s following the attack after Bound for Glory.
**The WWE crew is off the road until Wednesday when the Raw crew is in Detroit and the Smackdown team is in Chicago. CM Punk is not booked for any of the live events after Christmas but I could definitely see him appearing at the Smackdown show in Chicago for a promo.
**Hulk Hogan is getting into the restaurant and night club business with the announcement of the opening of “Hogan’s Beach”, a 20,000-square-foot restaurant with indoor and outside eating areas, live musical performances, tiki bars, dance floors and even a mechanical shark ride (perhaps a John Tenta themed ride). The club is launching on New Year’s Eve with Hogan attending the launch for those in the Tampa, Florida area.
**Tommy Dreamer has a great article on the SLAM website this week discussing the phone he received on Monday morning to come to Raw that night in Philadelphia. He said the only people he told were his wife and mother and was excited that his kids got to see him appear on Raw.
**Jamie Noble turns 36-years old today. I brought it up on Review-A-Wai this week when we were reviewing the Joe Vs Kobashi card from 2005 but it’s amazing how young this guy was during the “peak” of his career and breaking onto the national scene in 1999 with WCW. I know the WWE doesn’t seem to like the idea of agents working in the ring but Noble would be such an asset to work with some of the young, green guys coming up on the house shows in the same fashion Finlay was utilized in 2005-2008.
**This week on Review-A-Wai we review the December 1995 In Your House “Season’s Beatings” show headlined by Bret Hart Vs British Bulldog for the WWF Title, Triple H Vs Henry Godwinn in a Hog Pen Match and the debut of Xanta Klaus. You can leave your feedback for the show at http://lawradio.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=feedback&action=display&thread=2263.
