Toronto – The world’s first-ever channel dedicated to fantasy sports FNTSY Sports Network has launched on SaskTel‘s digital cable service on August 27, 2014.
FNTSY Sports Network will be available as part of the Sports Theme Package in high-definition (HD) on channel 427 with an accompanying standard-definition (SD) service on channel 127.
SaskTel subscribers will receive a free preview of FNTSY Sports Network from August 27 to November 27, 2014.
FNTSY Sports Network is the world’s first-ever television network specifically targeted towards the estimated 40 million people who play fantasy sports annually and on a daily basis. It includes live studio programming, call-in shows, panels, celebrity and expert drafts, reality programming and on-site commentary from sports venues, as well as short-form programming from the experts around the country.
FNTSY Sports Network is owned by Anthem Media Group Inc., also the parent company of Fight Network, the world’s premier combat sports television channel, already available on SaskTel on channel 163 (SD) and now on channel 463 (HD).
