Karate1 Premier League Set for May 30-31 in Sao Paulo

For the first time, São Paulo Open will take part of the WKF Premier League Karate1 tour in May 30th and 31st 2015. Brazilian Karate Federation and Sao Paulo City will host this great event and will offer the best conditions for all karate competitors.

The tournament will allow 400 athletes from 26 countries (Canada, Chile, Dominican Republic, Colombia, Peru, USA, Malaysia, Iran, France, …) to test themselves on the tatami of São Bernardo do Campo, São Paulo.

Several national delegations will go to Brazil to complete their preparation for the next Toronto 2015 Pan American Games (23-25 July 2015).

Many of world top athletes, such as Douglas Brose (World male kumite -60kg Champion) and Breno Teixeira (World Junior kumite male -61kg champion) from Brazil, Ana Josefa Villanueva (Dominican republic), Sanchez Jaime Sandra (European kata female Champion – Spain), Ygaci Serkan ( Turkey), Brian Ramrup (USA) will also be present.
