B.J. Penn’s Return Postponed, Pettis vs. Barboza, Kimbo-Dada 5000 Preview on Fight News Now

John Pollock, John Ramdeen and Robin Black discuss sexual assault allegations against B.J. Penn from a former employee.

Also, the UFC 197 card is starting to take shape as another fight has been made official. Anthony “Showtime” Pettis will take on Edson Barboza in a lightweight bout with both men looking to get back in the win column.

Most recently, Pettis lost to Eddie Alvarez by split decision at UFC Fight Night Boston, while Barboza succumbed to a submission agianst Tony Ferguson at The Ultimate Fighter 22 Finale.

Pettis is still considered to be a top contender in the UFC lightweight division, officially ranked No. 3. On the other hand, Barboza seems to be on the outside looking in, officially ranked No. 8. A win for Barboza would likely place him among the division’s top contenders, while a win for Pettis will ensure he remains in that group.

It’s finally here. Kimbo Slice and Dada 5000 will go head to head tomorrow night at Bellator 149 in Houston, Texas. There has been no shortage of trash talk leading up to the fight and it continued this past Wednesday at the final pre-fight press conference.

After saying he wasn’t going to talk until asked a question, Kimbo barely let Dada get a word in before interrupting him.

“You fool, shut up man, you don’t have (expletive) to say,” said Kimbo. “You looked like (expletive) in your training yesterday.”

Meanwhile, MMA legends and main event opponents Ken Shamrock and Royce Gracie sat there quietly as Kimbo and Dada waged yet another war of words.
“You’re going to understand what it feels like to be helpless for the first time in your life,” said Dada. “You’re never going to meet anybody that is going to hit you as hard as me.”

Then, in a bizarre turn of events, the conversation shifted to which fighter has bigger testicles.

“You’ve got baby nuts,” said Kimbo. “I bet you my nuts are bigger than yours.”

The questions were few and far between as the media sat back and enjoyed the exchange. However, one member of the media did ask Kimbo if the two could ever shake hands and become friends after the fight.

“I’ve got no reason to be friends with this dude,” said Kimbo, to which Dada replied, “I’m done talking about it, I’ll do the rest of my talking inside the ring.”
