Pacquiao Outworks Clottey in Front of Over 50,000

WBO welterweight
champion and pound-for-pound superstar Manny Pacquiao (51-3-2, 38 KOs)
scored a one-sided twelve round unanimous decision against former IBF
champion Joshua Clottey (35-4, 20 KOs) in front of 50,994 on Saturday
night at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. From the opening bell,
Pacman outworked Clottey in every round. Pacquiao outpunched Clottey at
a 3:1 clip as the Ghanian spent long periods with his guard up and
seemed to be more interested in surviving than winning. Clottey’s
corner begged him to open up, to no avail.
