Sweet Science: The Boss Wins Award
“The Sweet Science: The Boss”, a documentary on Kevin “The Boss” Reynolds, recently won the award for Best Canadian Short Documentary at the Okanagan International Film Festival. The documentary focuses on Reynolds’s career in 2007, where he won a match against Canadian fighter Frank White to become the #1 ranked cruiserweight boxer in Canada, a position that has him in line for a shot at the Canadian title.
The film includes interviews with former Canadian fighter Manny Sobral, and well known British Columbia trainer Jerry Veerasammy. The documentary also features music composed by Steve Karagianis, and music from up and coming metal band Titans Eve.
The Boss is produced and directed by Canadian filmmaker Evan Chan, and is currently airing on The Fight Network.
