Stade Pierre Mauroy in Lille, France to Host GLORY 22 June 5

GLORY, the world’s premier kickboxing league, today announced the date and location for GLORY 22. Stade Pierre Mauroy in Lille, France hosts a Heavyweight World Championship fight and one-night, four-man Lightweight Contender Tournament on Friday, June 5.

GLORY Heavyweight World Champion Rico Verhoeven (45-10, 11 KOs) headlines GLORY 22, defending his title against an opponent to be announced. Verhoeven is riding a seven-fight win streak in GLORY, with the last victory coming via TKO over Errol Zimmerman at GLORY 19 in February.

GLORY 21 San Diego Fight Card Finalized for May 8

GLORY, the world’s premier kickboxing league, today announced the full fight card for its first visit to San Diego as Valley View Casino Center hosts GLORY 21 on Friday, May 8. The event airs live on Spike TV at 11/10c.

GLORY’s middleweight title is on the line in the headline bout as reigning champion Artem “The Lion” Levin (50-4-1, 33 KOs) of Russia defends his belt against Canadian muay thai world champion Simon “Bad Bwoy” Marcus (42-2-1, 24 KOs). The challenger Marcus earned his title shot in April at GLORY 20 by defeating Wayne Barrett and Jason Wilnis on the same night to win the Middleweight Contender Tournament. Having met once before under muay thai rules, Marcus earned a unanimous decision nod over Levin in March of 2013.

GLORY Superfight Series Televised on CBS Sports Network

GLORY Sports International, parent company of GLORY, the world’s premier kickboxing league, today announced that the GLORY SuperFight Series card taking place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates will air on CBS Sports Network on Saturday, April 4 at 8 p.m. EDT/5 p.m. PDT.

The Dubai event marks the second telecast of a three-show deal that began on Friday, Feb. 13 with an airing of the action-packed GLORY SuperFight Series from GLORY’s event in Hampton, Va.
