Elite XC Sept. 20 Event Cancelled

The Fight Network has learned that EliteXC has cancelled their Sept. 20 event that was scheduled to take place in Albuquerque, New Mexico. 

No specific reason was given, only that Elite XC is concentrating all of their efforts on the October 4th event on CBS.

It was no secret that Elite XC had been trying to put together a Welterweight Title between Jake Shields and John Alessio for September 20th but Alessio stated to us that he would not be ready by that date due to injury.
