**TMZ is reporting that the
Pasco County Sheriff’s office filed a report stating that crushed pills of
oxycodone and a snorting straw were found at the scene where Luna Vachon was
found dead this past Friday. The report also lists findings of various
prescription pill bottles and pill residue on a tray with another snorting
straw. Vachon had gone through WWE sponsored rehab on two separate occasions
and had been living with her mother at the time of her death after her house
burnt down a number of weeks ago.
**There is no episode of
Ring of Honor next Monday due to Labor Day so tonight’s show will be the last
episode before the ‘Glory by Honor IX’ event on September 11th.
**Mick Foley writes about
the passing of Luna Vachon.
**Joseph Carl Bailey Jr.,
who wrestled as J.C Bailey most notably for Combat Zone Wrestling, IWA Mid
South and worked some tours with Big Japan Pro Wrestling was found dead Monday
morning at the age of 27. Bailey made his debut in 2001 after being trained by
Ian Rotten, Chris Hero and Tracy Smothers and became a staple of the hardcore
wrestling scene on the U.S independents. Bailey had returned to the independent
scene this year after serving two years in prison after stealing a television
set from a Wal-Mart location and had just turned 27 last Thursday. His father
was also the promoter of Bad to the Bone Wrestling out of Kentucky, where Bailey worked early in his
career.
**CZW released the
following statement regarding the passing of Bailey:
It is with great sadness that CZW management has the unfortunate duty to
again report on the news of the passing of another one of its own. Early this
morning, CZW officials learned that Joseph Carl “JC” Bailey Jr. passed away in
his home at the age of 27. JC was a beloved member of the CZW locker room, and
a member of the extended Combat Zone family for nearly a decade. As a
performer, JC was fearless. He was renowned and admired by fans and colleagues
alike for his toughness, his resilience, and for the undying passion he showed
for the sport of Professional Wrestling… the sport he loved. Away from the
ring, JC was a true friend to so many people, and today, we all remember him,
and mourn his loss. Rest in Peace JC Bailey.

in Waterbury, Connecticut and is a fundraiser show for the
Waterbury Police Athletic League. This is expected to be Bryan’s final independent date before working
exclusive dates for the WWE.
**John Cena will be
appearing on ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’ on Wednesday night at 12:35am EST
on NBC.
**WWE Studios will be
releasing ‘Knucklehead’ starring Big Show on November 19th on Blu

28th of this year.
**It was on this date the
WWE held the 1998 ‘SummerSlam’ from Madison Square Garden in New York City
headlined by Steve Austin defeating The Undertaker in the main event to keep
the WWF Title in a program that was built tremendously well over that summer
and led to the company doing in excess of 700,000 buys for the show. The event
also featured a memorable Ladder Match between The Rock and Triple H as both
were on the rise and it was clear at this point in time that The Rock was going
to be a huge star as that summer was a huge breakout period for him.
