LAW July 1 Update – Slow News Day

**Happy Canada Day to all of our Canadian readers and listeners.

**WWE ‘Raw’ did a 3.9 rating this past Monday coming off of the pay per view. Last week’s show did a 4.5 for the commercial free edition of the program.

**Tyler Reks, Abraham Washington, Naofumi Yamamoto and Seamus O’Shaunnessy all made their ECW debuts last night on the program being called up from Florida Championship Wrestling.

**Taz’s 90 day no compete clause officially expires today.

**Former XPW promoter Rob Black (Rob Zicari) and wife Janet Romano (Lizzy Borden) were sentenced today to one year and one day in prison after pleading guilty this past March to one charge of conspiracy to distribute obscene material. Black owned a production company called Extreme Associates that produced pornography and the original charges could have resulted in both Black and Romano facing 50-years in prison and a $5 million fine. The two will also be subject to two years of supervised probation upon release from prison.

**If you are in the downtown Toronto area than be sure to check out PFL 30 tonight at Mod Club (722 College Street) where champion Carmen Monoxide is defending her title against Olivia Neutron Bomb in the main event. Dan ‘The Mouth’ Lovranski (who is now on Facebook as well) and Jason Agnew (also on FB) will both be on hand at tonight’s event. The doors open at 8pm and the fights begin at 9:30pm.
