**The WWE announced on
Tuesday that they have released Armando Alejandro Estrada (Hazim Ali). Estrada
wasn’t being used on TV but had been part of the ECW brand over the last year
and a half. Estrada came up through Ohio Valley Wrestling where he worked under
the name Osama Rodriguez Alejandro where he worked as a bodyguard for Muhammad
Hassan and later as a worker. He was called up in April 2006 and debuted as the
manager of Umaga the night after “WrestleMania 22″ and instantly began a feud
with Ric Flair. Estrada got over instantly with his catchphrases to the point that
the WWE told him to stop using them as they were getting babyface reactions. In
an interview with The LAW in January 2007 Estrada told us that he would like to
do more in ring work than simply managing.

**M-1 has issued a statement
in an attempt to put together a fight between UFC heavyweight champion Brock
Lesnar and WAMMA heavyweight champion Fedor Emelianenko. M-1 is asking for a
co-promotional fight with M-1, Affliction and UFC, which has zero chance of
happening with the UFC standing to gain nothing from a deal of that nature. The
statement includes a quote from Randy Couture that he made at his post fight
party Saturday where he said “Fedor would probably tear Brock up at this point”.
**On “Ultimate Fighter 8″
tonight it’s the final quarter final fight with John Polakowski meeting George
Roop at lightweight. There is also a big incident on the show where Polakowski
snaps.
**The California State
Athletic Commission held their hearing yesterday to formally accept the

together to find a permanent replacement, which could last until March of next
year. Sherdog.com confirms that Douglas has
applied for the job.
