Wai Ting and I have ‘Review
a Raw’ posted recapping Monday night’s edition of ‘Raw’ including a terrible
promo, a terrible match but a phenomenal interview segment
.

be in Orlando tomorrow night to tape the September 30th show and
then go live on October 7th heading into the ‘Bound for Glory’ pay

the World Title
*The Miz Vs Daniel Bryan for
the U.S Title
*Melina Vs Layla or Michelle
McCool to unify the Women’s and Diva’s Title in a ‘Lumberjill Match’

**Our full uncut interview
with Charlie Haas is now available for download in the ‘downloads’ section. In
the interview Haas discusses the reunion with Shelton Benjamin at ‘Glory by
Honor IX’ this Saturday, working against Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli,
their time in the WWE and subsequent breakup, being off the WWE road schedule,
competition backstage between Evolution and Team Angle, MMA and this thoughts
on the passing of Lance Cade.

**We got a note from one
listener who was at the Verizon Center in Washington
Monday night for ‘Raw’ and said that a kid ran into the ring at the end of the
show and was tackled by security. He also noted that the fan ran into the ring
wearing a sling on his arm.

**Dragon Gate USA announced
today that they will present their first internet pay per view on
GoFightLive.TV on October 29th entitled ‘Bushido: Way of the Warrior’
from Fall River, Massachusetts and will be available for
$14.95. GFL is the same internet
distributor for the Ring of Honor internet pay per views and has also hosted a
number of independent MMA pay per view events.

**TNA ‘Impact’ did a 1.04
rating this past Thursday and averaged 1,409,000 viewers. TNA ‘Reaction’ did a
0.51 rating immediately following the show and averaged 692,000 viewers.

**Hulk Hogan sent out a
message this morning on Twitter that he is still in the hospital for his back
problems.

**The following matches were
taped for WWE ‘Superstars’ on Monday night in Washington, D.C:
*Primo & Jillian Hall Vs
Goldust & Gail Kim
*William Regal Vs R-Truth

**Evan Bourne defeated Zack
Ryder in a dark match prior to the TV tapings in Washington, D.C Monday night. Following the

WWE Title after pinning Randy Orton.

**The following matches have
added to the Ring of Honor ‘Glory by Honor IX’ event this Saturday night in
Manhatten:
*Jay Briscoe Vs Kenny King
*Mark Brisco Vs Rhett Titus

**WWE ‘Superstars’ did a 0.52
rating on Thursday night on WGN America and averaged 561,000 viewers.

**The WWE is holding an open
tryout on November 5th in Freehold, New Jersey
at the Matt Borne Professional
Wrestling Academy.
The size is limited to 100 entrants and will cost prospective trainees $325 for
the tryout.

**Jerry Lawler’s Memphis
Wrestling will be finished after this Saturday’s broadcast. The show failed to acquire
any further sponsorship after a split between Lawler and Joe Cooper, who were
set to go into business together and open up a deli. After Lawler informed
Cooper he was withdrawing his name from the venture Cooper stopped selling
advertising for the show and it is done. The show minimal viewership in Memphis
often in the range of 10,000 viewers each week and a far cry from the solid
numbers wrestling would do in Memphis on Saturday mornings even over the last
five years. The production quality was just about the worst I have ever seen
from a televised wrestling product and likely hurt them trying to sell the show
to any other distributors.

**Worldwide Wrestling
Promotions has lost one of their key executives as Mister Saint Laurent has
announced that he is leaving the promotion over breach of contract and is now
training for a return to the ring and hopeful of securing some Canadian dates.
Saint Laurent was part of the promotion right from the get go and is very close
with Scott Hall (who was rumored to have a big spot with the company before he
went to rehab) and was overseeing a lot of the talent for the company. R. Sean
Pascoe (Sean Davis) issued a statement as well stating that there is no ill
will towards Saint Laurent but wanted to clarify to the public that there was a
specific clause in the contract agreement that allowed the promotion to
postpone the start date of payment for an unforeseen circumstances and the
employee would be allowed to re-negotiate terms of the contract or opt out of
the deal if the postponement would be longer than sixty days.

**This Sunday night on The
LAW we will be joined by the man previously known as ‘The Sinister Minister’
Jim Mitchell to discuss a variety of topics about the current presentation of
professional wrestling. As always we will speak with Dave Meltzer of the ‘Wrestling
Observer Newsletter’ and we will also hear from David Lagana to review Ring of
Honor’s ‘Glory by Honor IX’ event.
