Scott D’Amore has posted the following statement on his Facebook page:

Scott D’Amore would like to wish TNA well in their future endeavours! More to follow

D’Amore was the head of TNA creative from 2005 until August 2006 when Vince Russo was brought into the company. D’Amore is probably one of the underrated bookers of the last ten years as it was under his reign that TNA produced some of their best shows with a vastly superior in ring product to the WWE counterpart.

D’Amore was also instrumental in working with the TNA Knockouts division when it began in October 2007. After leaving the company for a period of time in 2008 he returned in 2009 in the role of an agent for the women and that was his primary duty up until this announcement that he is leaving the company.

About an hour following the posting by D’Amore it was announced by BSE Pro (an independent wrestling organization out of Ontario) that BSE Pro and Scott D’Amore’s Border City Wrestling will be merging to form a new promotion called Maximum Pro Wrestling to run live events and also develop a new television show.
