The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase Sr. enters the ring with his son Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes. The Million Dollar Man praises the young second generation stars while holding his Million Dollar belt. He goes on to announce a match between Legacy and Edge & Jericho. In an effort to make an impact, he also announces that Mark Henry will face Cody Rhodes. DiBiase tells his son that he feels Orton is holding him down and using him. He tells him, that he will have to face Orton. At this moment, Edge and Chris Jericho appear, they enter the ring and talk smack with DiBiase and Rhdoes.
Edge & Chris Jericho vs Carlito & Primo Colon
Carlito works Edge in the corner until he runs into a big boot. Jericho comes in and stomps away on Carlito. Edge and Y2J double team Carlito and continue to work him over. Jericho displays some mat wrestling and attempts a submission. Carlito manages a springboard elbow and makes the tag. Primo unloads with a head scissors and cross body for a 2 count on Edge. Edge foils Primo’s springboard attempt and after a scuffle, he pushes him into Jericho who delivers a code breaker. As Primo turns around Edge nails him with a spear for the win.
Winners: Edge & Chris Jericho
After the match a frustrated Carlito attacks Primo!
Backstage DiBiase and Orton exchange words in regards to tonight’s match up. Their conversation becomes heated when Orton tells DiBiase that he can not be beat.
Alica Fox & Maryse vs Gail Kim & Mickie James
Maryse and Mickie lock up until Maryse slams Mickie down by her hair. Fox comes in but the veteran Mickie hits her with some forearm shots, followed by a reverse neckbreaker. Gail comes in and hits a modified spear on Alicia in the corner. Fox manages to choke Gail on the ropes. After the ref is distracted, Maryse takes advantage and kicks Gail in the head. Maryse comes in and works Gail over with a backbreaker. Out of nowhere, Gail manages to drop Maryse with a modified jawbreaker for the win.
Winners: Gail Kim & Mickie James
Rhodes goes to talk to the Million Dollar Man in an attempt to get out of his match with Mark Henry. He enters the room with a stack of bills in an effort to bribe the Million Dollar Man. DiBiase Sr. tells the young Rhodes that the money isn’t nearly enough and reveals that he always hated Dusty Rhodes. He sends Rhodes off while cackling in the background.
Cody Rhodes vs Mark Henry
Henry manhandles Rhodes and drops him easily. Rhodes attempts a cross body off the top rope, but Henry catches him and delivers the world’s strongest slam. Rhodes rolls to the outside and gets counted out.
Winner: Mark Henry
Randy Orton vs Ted DiBiase
The match starts with a lock up and Orton begins to belittle DiBiase who quickly levels him with a dropkick. DiBiase follows up by sending Orton to the outside with a hip toss. DiBiase is unloading on Orton as we cut to break.
On the other side of the commercial, Orton grounds DiBiase with a headlock. We learn that during the break Orton turned things around after sending DiBiase into the steel steps. DiBiase finds himself on the apron and pulled back in with Orton’s patented DDT.
After dropping a knee, Orton returns to the headlock. DiBiase mounts a little momentum but it is quickly taken away with Orton’s signature backbreaker. Orton comes off the ropes and DiBiase hits a powerslam, and then locks on Dream Street. However a crafty Orton wiggles out of the hold and connects with an RKO for the win.

Josh Matthews quickly interviews Triple H backstage. Triple H hypes his match with Cena then goes on to say that he will do whatever it takes to take the title off Randy Orton.
MVP is in the MVP lounge and congratulates the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase on a job well done thus far. He references the fifteen superstar trade and welcomes Jack Swagger to the lounge.
Swagger enters the ring and refuses a seat, he prefers to stand. MVP asks him why he did what he did last week against Orton. Swagger replies by stating his accomplishments and goes on to disparage MVP; he makes references to MVP’s time as an inmate. MVP talks about his past openly and how he tries to influence young kids to “do the right thing and not get caught up with gangs.” MVP beings to get in Swagger’s face and the crowd gets hot. Swagger says that he doesn’t fight criminals or anyone below him. Swagger leaves the ring, as the fans boo him and continue to chant M.V.P. MVP concludes by making fun of Swagger, as he has not yet fought on RAW. He makes a challenge, but Swagger walks off.
DiBiase Sr. congratulates his son on his match with Orton. DiBiase Jr. tells him that he was in an impossible situation. An angered DiBiase Jr. slaps his father in the face and walks off.
Kofi Kingston vs Evan Bourne
They lock up and we see a series of quick pin attempts. Kofi locks on a Boston crab, but Bourne gets out and we continue to see mat action and more quick near falls. Kofi flies off the top rope with a crossbody and hits Bourne with a dropkick and a knee in the corner. Kofi charges at Bourne in the corner, but eats a knee that drops Kofi. Bourne scurries to the top rope and lands the shooting star press “Air-Bourne” for the win.
Winner: Evan Bourne
Following the match up, both competitors show mutual respect and then the Big Show’s music hits. Show drops Kingston with a headbutt and tosses Bourne across the ring. Show hits him with a devastating spear, then goes over to Kingston and makes him pass out with his version of the camel clutch. Show walks off with his music playing in the background.
Matthews interviews Cena backstage in regards to his match with Triple H. Cena says that tonight the fans are in for a treat as “two of the biggest forces will lock horns.” Cena says that he respects Triple H, but will stop at nothing to get a shot at the title.
Triple H vs John Cena
They stare at each other face to face and lock up. Commentary is pushing this main event as one of the biggest in company history (yup keep trying). Cena takes Triple H down, but the game gets back up and smashes Cena with a big right. Cena answers back with a few of his own. Cena hits a shoulder block, which is quickly telegraphed with a high knee. The action spills to the outside after Triple H is sent to the mats. Cena attempts an Attitude Adjuster on the outside, but Triple H counters by pushing Cena into the barrier (cut to commercial).
Back from the break, Cena throws Triple H with a hip toss and fisherman’s suplex. Triple H answers with two backbreakers and a suplex of his own. After a very slow and boring punching contest, Cena hits two shoulder blocks and a 5 knuckle shuffle –crowd boos. An attitude adjuster is attempted, but Triple H counters and connects with a knee to the skull. Triple H hits a spinebuster and misses the Pedigree but locks on a sleeper. After sometime, Cena reverses the sleeper and we revert back to the punching contest.
Cena with a float over neckbreaker, he goes to the top and misses the leg drop. Cena tries an attitude adjuster, but Triple H gets out and we see a school boy attempt, but not even a one count. Cena locks on the STF, but Triple H makes it to the ropes. Cena slingshots Triple H into the turnbuckle and the two begin to tee off on each other once again.
Abruptly, Legacy makes a hit and run attack on both participants thus rendering it a double disqualification. Orton comes out to announce that it is a double disqualification when we suddenly hear that Million Dollar Music. DiBiase Sr. announces that at Night of Champions Orton will defend his title in a triple threat match against John Cena and Triple H. DiBiase Sr. walks to the back while the three main eventers stare each other down.
